veracocha Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Life is good, they arrived today. I should have turned the volume down before testing them, way too loud! 2 Quote

Whilst I was able to reduce the volume of the music I can't control the pips of the volume indicators on my Cardo. And the battery power level message when switching off is still too loud; any idea's? Quote

The battery power level is less of an issue for me because I almost always forget to turn the Cardo off until I've taken the helmet off. Just one though - are you turning down the volume using your phone or the Cardo? If you've been using the phone, try 'Hey Cardo Volume Down'. Or maybe have a look in the settings in the Cardo app? If I remember rightly, there's a few different volume sliders in there. 1 Quote

Always on the Cardo, I'll look into your other suggestions so thanks for the info. 1 Quote

Stu Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Received an email on Christmas eve to say they are half way through the process of making them! So next year for me But all I am seeing so far is positive feedback! I opted for built in speakers due to hearing loss and struggling to hear even at full volume! 2 Quote

My next set of custom earplug will be blue tooth speakers. I had wired ones but managed to wreck the connection and as they're sealed units are banjoed. Quote

One of the wires broke within 12 months. New ones supplied under warranty. Broke again within 2 years. Gave up with speakers. Just bought a Cardo with decent in helmet speakers. Quote
veracocha Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Game changers indeed. Tried them for the first time today and very impressed with how they eliminate road/wind noise. Took about 30 minutes to get used to them to the point I didn't feel like they were there. Well recommended. 6 Quote
Stu Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Well they have turned up! Initial impressions are very very good! With the volume of the cardo set to minimum for radio and music its too loud in the house! granted its quiet and once out and about the volume will need to come up one level I suspect Intercom remains to be tested! my worry is the wind noise now from other riders headsets 3 Quote
