Gerontious Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 If you believe in fate. Or whatever you want to call it. I would still have this bike and then, perhaps the fella who bought it from me might still be alive and have children, perhaps grandchildren by now. Who knows. But he bought it and a few weeks later. Wrong place. Wrong time. Killed instantly. No fault of his or the bikes. The drunk driver was killed too - no seat belt. It was a lovely bike. And I do genuinely regret selling it, because it was quite special. But those new Hinkley Triumphs looked so good and were a huge leap forwards in 1994. i don’t have a photo of it on my phone. But it looked exactly like this. The last Meriden Bonnie before the factory closed down. Mine was a 1984. This is an 83. And is exactly as I remember it. i remember the day i bought it so clearly. I really did think it was the bees knees. 2 2 Quote
