daveinlim Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Bit of a random one but for those of us that have less than perfect vision the damp air of winter is causing our glasses to fog up. I had been using a brand called respite who are American and their reusable wipes was fantastic and lasted about a year. The last one of them I have is now finished and I've been trying others but they have all been useless. Can anyone recommend a new brand I can try. I want a reusable glasses wipe rather than a spray bottle and a wipe as it's easier to just leave the wipe in my jacket. Zeiss do disposable ones which I might give a go. Quote

I'd rather keep the visor closed than let in the cold and rain in winter. Been all good until the change in weather. Quote
OldEssexMan Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Fogtech DX anti-fog wipes. Single use only but they do work and stay active all day. They are no good if you have fancy coatings on your lenses though, they just bead up and don't produce a film. Nano Magic anti fog: a small bottle contining the jollop and a microfibre cloth. Not cheap but woks on the coated lenses as mentioned above. I agree with the OP, opening the visor a crack is fine in moving traffic but, if you are moving slowly or stop-start, you get a cold face and, if it's raining, rain on your specs as well. 1 Quote
Hairsy Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I use Zeiss AntiFog spray. I can't compare it with others as its the first I tried (based on a recommendation). It works well on the day I apply it. If I forget to apply it then it's rubbish. So it works on about 50% of the days I need it. 1 Quote
