JTDG Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Looking to get a non clear visor for the summer (yes I know they aren’t legal depending on tint) I see so many different iridium visor colours on multiple helmet brands, but I can only seem to find silver / gold or blue for my AGV K3. Is there any websites that sell after market ones that would be compatible? Or is it better to just do for the dark smoke tint? I plan on carrying my clear visor with me, just Incase. My drop down sun visor fogs so awfully it’s basically unusable. Quote

Actually it’s not if it’s tinted, it’s if it’s beyond a percentage of an optical light regulation machine. regulated to be daylight spec’d while used in the daytime. You could ride without the visor but only mass Americans and other special people do it yet complain when a bug/animal variant messes up their vision when the free beings interfere with the meat sacks. the only thing tends to be that these more special coatings play havoc with optical reading machines. Just to put it out I love silver/mirror tints…ever prior to motorbikes, but these bling coating play havoc with the way regulation to try to make it “fair and unbiased”. Now to be honest many people’s vision can be greatly altered due to their biological difference/variance's let alone when adding a “filter”. 2 Quote
bonio Posted April 27 Posted April 27 You could try aliexpress. I've picked up a few for the Shoei I have for a few bob each. They all fit better than the one that came in the box. 2 Quote

Same if you get hit by a stone on the visor. Quote

Old and Withered Posted Sunday at 07:58 Posted Sunday at 07:58 Why can I ride with Stevie wonders sunglasses on but can't have a tinted visor. Never been able to figure that one out. Quote

Never been able to figure that one out. It's the same with my 12 bore. I can walk around the farm all day shooting pigeons and the like, but do the same in Trafalgar Square, which would be doing the public a service by controlling the numbers of pigeons, and the men with the blue flashy lights would be there in minutes. Never been able to figure that one out. Edited Sunday at 14:31 by Capt Sisko 2 Quote
