Didn't think many of you would go during the week, don't you have work? lol

My roster this week gives me Monday/Tuesday off. (Hence why I am going Monday)

Next week I get Wed/Thursday off.

The following week I get Friday/Saturday off then the Monday/Tuesday again and so on.

So every third week I get Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues off.

The joys of a four day week......!

Why are you all going on the Wednesday? :?

Didn't think many of you would go during the week, don't you have work? lol

Typically Wed is the quietest day buddy, weekends are rammed, mon and Fri are busy (long weekend) and tue-thur tend to be quieter, so for the past few years I have just taken a day of leave and hit the show during the week.

Best place to meet up is either the Guinness bar or the stage bit where the interviews etc are. To the left of the stage is some kind of food hall and a burger van. Between the burger van and the stage is a good bit of open space where you can meet up, I would say go for that.

There are self-service ticket machines just opposite the entrance to buy tickets on the day.

When we were there we had to wait until 10am before they let us in, wasn't too busy then but later on in the day when we were leaving it was packed, I imagine the weekend will be solid.

Loads of stands selling kit but rather disappointingly hardly any of them are doing 'show discounts'. Did manage to get a good deal for my mate when he bought a helmet and visor, managed to save him 60 notes just by haggling.

There was a stall there selling different kinds of boots for £20. They looked ok if you are on a tight budget. Had a look at a few of them and one pair the zip didn't work, most were alright but I personally wouldn't buy a pair although for 20 notes they are better than no protection at all.

Draggin Jeans were full price, you can get them online cheaper and the Knox gear (backpack etc) were full price too, again look around online to find cheaper.

Bit of a weird concept the whole thing making you pay to go in and buy stuff you could get online for cheaper and to look at bikes that you could simply go and look at, at your local dealership. You wouldn't pay to go shopping at Asda would you......

I went because I wanted to go with the lads from work, (instead of going on our usual ride out we made it a bit of a social event) and to take some pictures that I was happy with at the end of the day.

Not sure I will go next year to be honest. I believe there is a similar one at the Ally Pally in London so we were talking about just going to that one.

Hyosung are there with offers on. had a sit on the GT650R EFI very nice feels light could be my next sports bike looks and feels sterdy and looks alot like a GSXR for 1/2 the price lol also was abit more comfortable.

Triumph are there had a lil sit on a rocket 3 ;-) and also some BWS's nice sports bikes on show and a gold wing owners club for some reason lol.

loads of offers on leather but i didnt have the budget to buy some this year maybe next year.

i was also supprised that how, Honda, Yam and Suz all have the same shape bikes lol.
