Guest Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Had a closer look at map and looks like Liphook is kinda central for you guys-don't know anything about round there-anybody
Guest Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 ive found a few pubs in the area, but would people be up for a meet during the week, or would a meet up at a weekend meet for some food be better?
Guest Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 ive found a few pubs in the area, but would people be up for a meet during the week, or would a meet up at a weekend meet for some food be better? Seeing the distances it would be better to meet up at the weekend, a pub with food would be great!
Gweev Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Is Wickham Square, east of Botley too far for you WoW?I've heard there's a bike meet there every Friday evening. I can't make it this or next Friday, or actually until the beginning of Sept . Gx
Guest Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Just looked up Liphook that seems fine distance-wise. Have done more miles in a day, did 300 for a couple of days last year on hols in france, was mad tho, but if I'm on my own it's a whole different ball-game. Once we have a date might see if I can bring a friend along.

Gweev Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Lol. Its Botley Hamps. Looking at a map, it's north of J9 on the M27, so yes probably a bit far for you during the week .Gx
Guest Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 right would people be up for a weekend meet at somewhere like the hungry horse in liphook then,if people want to meet on route, then i think that it might be easier for all to find it, pm me with your post code and ill sort out directions if you guys want to meet up at that one or if you can find a better option then please suggest

Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 So we've got meeting at a pub in/near Liphook, Hants. Looked at the map and would prefer to meet in Midhurst, have been to a nice pub there but can't remember name? Only been to Midhurst once. Think it was the Half Moon Inn, on the A272.http://www.pubinnguide.com/pubdetailsidx56960.aspDoes anyone know it?That way we could possibly go on a little ride-out as I might have some steam left and we could for instance stop for tea at Bury Hill Four people plus friends/gfs/partners. Great. As someone else has said now we just need a date. WoW: HoveMel: Ferndown nr BournemouthGweev: SouthamptonBorile: Farnborough Suppose it's a south-east ride now, could we move it from south-west to south-east?
Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 i think it is the royal anchor, but if people prefer the other ideas it might be an idea to hold a pole for itbut im liking the idea of riding over to bury hill, shall we make this a weekend ride, so we can fit it all in
Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I would love to come along providing can get away from work if that's ok so voting with whatever you lot decide-Boriles is good idea but not sure about Wow and her tea Mel-How is this starting to sound with you and Amanda bearing in mind it is a bit of a ride for you two?
mel64 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Amanda hasn't done a 'long ride' as such yet so if the weather is good no probs with us... Looking forward to meeting up again. The weekend idea is good and so is a pub with food... WoW has started another thread in South East ride-outs so will post weekends I'm free over the weekend as I have my kids every other one.
Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 If it's too far for Amanda, I can ride a bit further than midhurst but need an escort then! (I don't really enjoy riding on my own and certainly not where I don't know the roads.) Believe Gweev and Justarider could possibly be available for that Yeah a date would be good (see thread here Availability for Hampshire ride-out)
Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 HEEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO HAVE YOU NOW ALL GONE TO SOUTH EAST WHAT'S 'APPENING
