TomW Posted October 9, 2008 Share Posted October 9, 2008 How do you tell when your carbs are unbalanced i've just de-restricted my bike and now its not running right im getting a couple of flat spots higher up in the revs, i spoke to a mechanic briefly today and he said it could be the carbs was just wondering what the symptoms were? Stu Posted October 9, 2008 Share Posted October 9, 2008 carb balance only rally effects the slow running of the bike not at high revs it balances out the amount of air been sucked into each pot an eratic rev counter is a sign of out of balance carbs but my guess would be you need the bike setting up properly have you got a aftermarket exhaust on ? if so stick the origanal one on and see how it is Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TomW Posted October 9, 2008 Author Share Posted October 9, 2008 haven't managed to get a plug out yet as their so bloody hard to get too, i've spoken to the people who restricted it and they said that the jetting wasnt touched will it still need rejetting?
