MonkeyKnuckle Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 Not yet. I haven't tried for the last couple of days as it's been -5 or so by the time I've got home. Wait for it to get above freezing before trying again. Quote

ade38 Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 dont hold the starter on too long or it'll burn out, you probably knew that Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 dont hold the starter on too long or it'll burn out, you probably knew that Nope. I know nothing! Quote

slugworth1987 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 remove plugs and rest them on the engine casing and press go to check the spark, should be nice and blue Quote
Guest nastro azzurro Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 dont hold the starter on too long or it'll burn out, you probably knew that Nope. I know nothing! Well you know your bike wont start...... Have you sorted it yet then?????? nce running.... give a good run out..... then when all is well.... keep starting it up over the long periods when your not using the bike.... Just to keep everything moving about and life in the battery....... Also... one of them trickle chargers is a good investment IF you have power in you garage or where your bike is parked..... Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Tried it today and it's completely dead. Turn the key and the dash lights come on, press the starter button and nothing, no clicking, just silence. Went to the place I bought it from and they are going to collect it on Wednesday as it's still under warranty until next August. Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 Bit of an update, it's still at the garage. Apparently the fuel pump went and should be fixed and home within the next couple of days. Quote
ade38 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 i wouldnt of guessed that! oh well at least its sorted. Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 Bike back and working. Rode it 20 miles or so home and didn't have any problems. In the end they replaced the fuel pump, started relay and 4 spark plugs. Quote
