craig Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 well after a slight mishap my rear seat pod needs stripping and repairing then repainting..but as its silver will have to get both parts painted ......i,m thinking of doing away with the silver and having it red same as the tank and maybe getting the bottom of the belly pan sprayed blue same as the middle panels.........whats your views http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e124/craig1976/cbr001.jpg Quote
Colin the Bear Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Changing from the original colour scheme will reduce the resale value. Quote
cruz Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Go for the new colours, gives it a bit of individuality. Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 No matter what you do, spraying it red or blue like the rest of the bikes bits, the reds and blues will never match. it'll be hard to compare a new silver to the silver of the bellypan, because they're so far apart, and because the belly pan is always in shadow. I'd get it re done in silver. Quote
TC Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Blue Mate Belly pan and tail thats a cracking shade of Blue on the bike Craig Quote
techno Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Needs to stay silver, if you paint the belly pan and the seat unit it will look too blue and red Shit!IMO. Quote
Hoody Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Just repair and repaint the pod. It's a standard Honda colour I take it? Quote
Korben Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Re-spray as it is now.....Or change all the silver to white.... Quote

Stu Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 if your not painting it dont worry about the paint codes as paint codes very depending on where the painter gets the paint from will only cost you about £60 to get the seat pod painted up Quote
