That's what I'm planning to do as well. (Haven't had a chance to use it properly yet.) I almost lost my sat nav on the motorway the other day, the clamp wasn't done up tight enough and it started sliding off. :lol: Ooops....

J2 of M5!, I'm going to scope it out this week, see if there's anywhere suitable for us to meet.

Cadbury world is sign posted (brown tourist signs) from there though :lol:

Just checked Cadbury World website but I can't find anything about senior citizen rates. :? I'll give them a ring to find out.


If you could post or let Rennie/me know for definite asap then we can add you to the list. Need to know by 9/3/09.

Had a word with sister Sue (marmalade) just to check,, Yep 99% certain will be ok,


dont bother with senior rates, can manage a tenner, will just live on gruel for the next few weeks

then get as sick as a pig on chocy :D :D :D :D

What time are u thinking of meeting... i may have to miss you all cos I got chloe at dance class 9am-10am, so probs wont be there til 12 noon... is that gonna be a problem?

I will be at Bournville train station at 1130 if anyone wants to meet there.


Not going to bother with the bike as I might stay over the night or head up to my mums in Liverpool the following day.

I've had my one and only bump in a car at a roundabout there back in 1991 :evil:

Important Info Time!


Rennie asked me to pass this on.


We are booked on the 12 noon tour so we need to meet in the car park by 11.30am at the latest, to give us time to sort out paying to get in etc. In order to benefit from the reduced rates we need to pay as a group, so we'll collect the money together - cash only please - in the car park beforehand. (the exact amount would be helpful please)


If anyone needs help finding/guiding their way to Cadbury World, Rennie & I will meet you in:

McDonalds Car Park at 10.45am, which is just off M5 at Junct 2


Vicks, if you're gonna be a bit late I can buy your tickets with the group so you get cheaper rate, then leave them at the entrance to the tour for you to collect when you get there. It's a self-guided tour so you may well be able to catch us up! :lol:


Might I suggest that everyone has the mobile number of someone else going so you can let us know if you're gonna be late, have got lost or just can't make it. Feel free to add mine from Contacts if you want to.

My ONLY EVER car "crash" in my driving life .... sadly wasn't rear ended (might not have complained so much :wink: :oops: )
