Jixerman Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 MK let me know which day your going and maybe we could travel up together? Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 It'll more than likely be the Sunday I would think. I'll have to check if I'm free on that day closer to the time. And yeah we can travel together, I might go the boring way of A3-> M25-> A40. Quote
Jixerman Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 No worries on the MwaysBeen past there onceA long time ago now but have a fair idea where it is Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 That's fine, I know where it is. Jin - If we do end up going to do want to ride with us from somewhere? I would say Target Roundabout but I hate that roundabout. Quote
Gin Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Um.. the Target is where i go to join the A40 !You could come to mine and we go the back roads.. but for you Big Burly Bikers.. it'll be boring.. Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Well you know the area better than us so we'll go whichever way you want to, whichever route is easier. We can discuss it nearer the time. Em's parents should be going as her Mum has a Kawasaki and wants to go. Quote
T180985 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 i will prob head down the m3 -> m25 -> m40 so im happy to meet anyone at the target roundabout if there is easiest either that or just a little further down the A40 there is a shell petrol station just off the road which is easy to get to and then back onto the a40 from Quote
Gin Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 RIGHT! Just as you turn off the a40 heading for Northolt, you pass a BP Garage and to the right is a pub (Just changed its name so need to go check).. Its a good place to meet thats away from the busy roundabout.. (And easy to get to for me ) Quote
Jixerman Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Would that be the pub on a large park type island between Mandeville Road and Ealing Road? Quote
ade38 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 i'm just glad its not in rush hour traffic again, my poor bum was a bit brown through all that traffic!! Quote
Jixerman Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I been through to Sutton on the bikeThat wasn't that bad but it was a fairly striaghtforward run tbf Quote
