Might just take a gander at the lids given that mine is bramble damaged and Im unsure now whether to continue using it or not. Not enough spare cash to buy a "branded" one with my current commitments and if its approved it'll do to keep me on the road at £40.

Bit off topic but

Can you get thermoplastic lids repaired?

I've a couple of original & authentic AGV stickers that came with my lid and I have not used them. For you? Very cheap to stick onto your cheap lid. I'll do you a special offer

And your making an offer like this to a man who drives a SKODA

INCOMING!! *Running for cover* :peep:

I drive a Skoda

I'm gonna pick up the tank bag me thinks. Maybe a couple of other pieces, it's not like they're expensive.

I also have tank bags. Going cheap

I bought a couple TO USE WITH MY Bandit. Unfortunately the Triumph's tank is not metallic. Its carbon fibre.

Just got back from lidl, got a tank bag and some long johns, the tank bag fits nice on my little YBR, quite good a lot of space in it. The long john seem bit big my advice would be buy a size down from what you normally would!

Just got a bike cover and the charger. The long johns were too expensive. Both the top and bottom would come to almost £28. I got a pair from eBay and they do a wonderful job for £7 all in.

The short boots are nice especially since you can wear them as ordinary trainers/hiking boots like, but I don't really need it. Sam Brown belt is excellent value as I paid £12 for mine on eBay and Lidl are doing it for £4.99

I've got back after buying some stuff. The helmets were going quickly though and there was only one Large sized one left. They seem good quality however i have a long head and my chin was against the bottom part of the helmet. :( I hope i don't have this problem with the cabergs.

I was actually amazed at the quality of the rain suits. I opened it and was shocked at how thick it was and that there was a lining. A word of warning though, I bought two, one for me and one for the wife and they wouldn't fit in my tank bag as they are quite bulky in the packaging.

The pillion to rider comms seems good too. It even comes with a three year warranty. Pretty basic and doesn't come with an adapter for my iphone but does for some of the other phones on the market. also it takes two AAA batteries.

Gloves seem high quality too and great for summer. I bought a pair so I can swap about if need be with my current pair when they get a bit sweaty. The lidl ones are are also windproof and waterproof.

I bought the long sleeved motorcycle vest and trying it out right now and it seems cool. Nice fit, although it's not making me look like the model on the box. Not sure what the long johns are like though as i've not tried them on yet. Might wait till TheBint gets home and I can entertain her in my figure hugging underwear. :D

I went to the one round the corner from work, and they had very little.

Only got the helmet comms and the vest.

Missus went to one of the other ones near Wishaw or somewhere, and they still had loads of stuff, so she got me the long johns.

I thought the tank bag looked very cheap (which it obviously was), but I was slightly worried about the quality.

I've just bought tank bags for me and Rennie - seem pretty ok to me! Lots of storage space, detachable bum bag thingy and can take the magnetic panel off and it makes into a back pack! :D

Me too! Spent 5 minutes taking bits off and trying to put it back together. Seems pretty good for the price. :D

Also bought a kidney belt and the 2 way communication system thing.

Yeah, turn the bag upside down and there is a little zip that opens up and you can get into the pillow thing. Inside there is what looks like a waterproof cover which is attached to a piece of elastic which is attached to the bag.

Sit the bag as it would be on the bike (with the pocket on the end away from you and the little fabric handle in front of you.) Just below the little fabric handle is a small zip (about 10 inches long) open it up and inside is the little rain cover thing.

Rubbish phone pic to give you an idea.
