Don't laugh - but would you need one with a Scottoiler?

D'you know....you can suddenly go off people, can't you?

I know the theory behind it, smarty-pants but I'm looking for real-life information from real bikers!!!

You should be pleased that I'm asking questions like this!!!

I think a scottoiler running on your bike along with using this will not be a bad thing. From what Dan said it's the cleaning function of this machine that impress's.

Yep, just used it on TheWifes bike this avo. Still impressive. And its tidy too, ie all the mess is contained..

It lubes too you know....

There's a gadget for everything these days. What happened to the good old toothbrush , rag and paraffin system.

Borrow the other half's marigolds if you don't want dirty nails. 8-)

Been using that rag and paraffin style for a year now... Although I do love the smell of the stuff, I don't get the chain anywhere near as good as this thing can do it!!

:stupid:

I even fashioned a tool to do the job, two brushes opposed to each other.. nowhere near as good. And this thing does it in minutes!

Well tried it for the first time today.

Have to say that although a little fiddly, no where near as bad as I had expected.

I don't think this will fully replace my normal cleaning method, although I will be using this probably every 1000 miles as it does reach parts of the chain that you can't do normally.

All in all I would recommend one. Pretty certain once I get used to using it, I will find it much easier to setup and use.
