Not so much a big motorbike as all you pro's are riding, but i have Peugeot Trekker 100 scooter.

The problem is, i had to get a new exhaust fitted, me and my dad done it ourselves but we went wrong and didnt oil the piston and/or barrel so had to get a new one. When we put the exhaust on ourselves, were it connects to the engine, there was 2 pins for the pipe to fix to.

Now that ive got it back, i noticed it was proper loud considering its got a new exhaust, so i had a look around an noticed tha the bottom pin were the exhaust connects isnt there. Are they replaceable and will it be alot of work just for that small thing?

I cant be doing with riding round on the bike while its making the noise of a thousand bee's!

Cheers

Its fixed down with a nut! Ill take a picture, its hard to explain

send a picture, by the sounds of it you have a broken stud, and would need to remove the front of the exhaust, get a new stud and a stud extractor or if possible mole grips and remove and replace, putting the front pipe back on with the nuts.. picture will help me claify this

i would take the bike back to the garage and get them to fix it for free, after all you've paid once, otherwise a refund of costs and the gasket otherwise you've paid good money for nowt.

it helps if the shops busy when you do this, no one likes bad publicity.....
