nigelwood1 Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 I spent this weekend at Thruxton watching the touring cars....Went down Friday afternoon and had a pleasant weekend getting pi55ed and watching the racing....There were about 25 of us with most of us wearing purple wigs all weekend...Yes we are a bit barking but it was a bl00dy good do!!!!..... nigelwood1 Posted April 29, 2009 Author Share Posted April 29, 2009 Unfortunately I have no photo's but the rest of the gang have loads.....A lot of them will be mainly in the drivers bar when we were very very drunk.....There should be some photo's of the racing but they may be a bit blurred as like I said we were very very drunk most of the weekend....The thing I like about the touring cars is that you get a FULL weekend of racing and plenty of mad buggers trying hard to win.....There was plenty of carnage and some brilliant racing....I would recommend a weekend at the touring cars.....Its great fun..... Guest Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 I've been to thruxton to see touring cars, BMW Kumho Challenge, and watched Jensen Button before his F1 career, it was an easy day out from the 2 Heli units in the area.. got loads of pics, might put on my FB...
