so i need to buy some wipes to take with me when im out on a blast, last week i must of hit about 60 flies all over my visor, and that was on a 20mile trip.

what do you guys take with you? pack of baby wipes?

I always have a pack of baby wipes in the "boot"

Do the job spot on

Then a sleeve or tissue to wipe of residue left by the wipes

I normally keep a little bottle of visor cleaner spray and a microfibre cloth in my pocket. I massacred a few hundred flies over the weekend on a lovely 300 mile trip :D

spectacle wipes.. or visor wipes.. or if i have neither a little water on a paper towel, (from my bacon roll)..

don't use fizzy drinks or flavoured water, gets kinda sticky....

V2 sponge when out and about.

When at home usually wet some kitchen towel, place on visor, leave for 5 min or longer then slide the towel off and the buggs come off with it (sometimes needs a little wipe).

Out for a long one today and had to stop twice to clean my visor. Used my V2 sponge for the first time. Soaked it in Muc-off and put it in the orange bag then into my jacket pocket. Also used the blue towel to dry it and it was gleaming.

Got to say it worked a treat, better than the old 'spit 'n' hankie that I used to do, it really worked well so if your thinking about buying one go and do it now, they are excellent little things.

Does it have to be a proper cleaning product or will good old H2O do?

i use tear offs.

you wouldnt believe the amount of folks that have took the piss giving it " who do you think you are rossi? " then at the next fuel/drink stop i tear one off and they are scrubbing away with the cando wipe they robbed off the bairn before setting off.

I like these. Water, spray, sponge to clean then visor wiper to clear.http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r183/Hoody_photo/wee_willy_in_hand_best_z4tc.jpg

You can use water, the instructions actually say just use clean water. Reason I used Muc-Off is I have had some left over for ages in a little spray pump dispenser so I emptied that onto the sponge instead. When that runs out though I will just use water. :)
