  2. your tick over will want adjusting on the carb to stop it cutting out look for a little turn wheel attached to the carb
  3. i would go with the ram mount they look really secure im going to look at getting one 8)

  7. i put mine in my tank bag in the map holder on the top you can buy a map holder for about £15 but make sure it has a zip on the bottom and not velcro as your phone will fall out

    no harm in checking again seems a bit odd it deffo sounds like a bearing just which one is that hard part if you pull the clutch in and keep some revs on can you still feel it ?
  10. its easy use sat nav getting to hull is the easy part its finding the training grounds that can be a problem its only up the road from my house so depending on what im working i might pop up to see ya all

    while your at it pull the sprocket cover off and see if there is any movement on the output shaft how many miles has the bike done ?

    check chain tension it sounds like its pulling tight with weight on it and causing stress on the output shaft if you didnt know but im guessing you will always check the tension with weight on the bike

    i would get a manual it will tell you what weight oil to put in also there is different types of measurement for fork oil some use x amount of oil and some are x amount of air gap and dont give you the amount in oil
  15. i have still got frank thomas untill i can afford to buy some new ones i used to have a pair of RST and they where brilliant lasted 2 years a little bit of stitching came out on the velcro fastening on the jacket put i had it repaired at a local leather shop and paid for by RST hein gericke do some cracking leathers but at the end of the day you get what you pay for

    also if it hasnt had a service in a while it might bo worth checking the valve clearances a tight valve that is slightly open can cause vibes but not as bad as teeth rattling

  18. yeah last ages if you dont use them mine have been back more times then i can remember and been replaced once and even those have been back 3 times frank thomas leathers are shyte i will never buy them again one time when i took them back for repair the guy said "god you have worn these havent you" well what do you expect
  19. i wouldnt ride it but its your life!!! if you have just bought it ring them up and tell them its fecked and get them to pick it up and sort it they was supposed to check it out
  20. easy peasy for the rear wheel insert spacers into wheel offer up to bike attach chain insert wheel spindle into first part of swing arm insert caliper mount if it acts as a spacer between wheel and swingarm push spindle through while balancing wheel on foot and lining it all up attach caliper tighten everything up check chain tension.......job jobbed not always as easy as that though

    yeah a few bikes still have a dipstick and even a dipstick for checking the oil
