I don't want to be a nuisance but no cat does look a lot better with bikes where you can see them from the side lol, just need to find an exhaust which lowers the DB a bit, because it's 97 with the cat and then goes to 106 without with the stock exhaust. With the stock exhaust and headers, it goes from 96/97 db stationary to 106 db stationary which I think is right up or just over the limit at some places... I'll just need to find an exhaust with a stronger baffle. & goodmorning

To decat or not, I got an extremely good deal on a set of blackwidow headers (£50) so bought without thinking. now I’m doubting it as this bike is already fekkin loud on it’s own, and I do want to do some track days in the future.

One thing I noticed was, how strong the brakes are because obviously you brake on all wheels at the same time. Found myself almost emergency stopping a lot.

LOL - how many lessons did you do eventually? did you grasp it quite quick in the end? I found myself slipping the clutch a lot, as I do, but heard this is not that good to do a lot in cars (?)

I started on an A1 motorcycle license in 2017, and as such have only ever held my motorcycle license. Ridden a car once in a car park, was a bit nerving. Anyone who got their car after moto, and was it easier or potentially even harder after having ridden a bike for some time? Don't really want to spend 40 hours on lessons but I know everyone is different

I've lined up a BMW dealer in Italy & in Netherlands just in case and seems there's plenty of websites with 24hr shipping in both too so see where we end up - tyres are cheaper there too.. 50 GBP cheaper for a set of Road 6s BMW dealer is gonna install my second hand blackwidow headers on Thursday... will go into Europe with some ear deafening sounds...

If only I knew at what mileage they were installed

The dealer did it when I bought it, it's 3.3mm at it's "worst" point in the middle, I'm probably gonna go to a BMW dealer in Italy if it looks too close to comfort.

This should be a lifetime driving ban on top of the jail sentence, someone who can’t keep their head cool enough to not attempt murdering someone else should not be allowed on the road.

Can't go wrong with a pair of Michelin Pilots 4 & up - I had them on a FZ07 and they were really good, felt secure, one minor point was that they could take a little longer to warm-up then some other brands.

I’m trying to attach the straps to my bike, and really want to put it on the topbox rack, but it seems to move around a lot there. putting it under the seat requires moving the battery, and taking apart quite a bit to put it under the plastic so would just prefer not to do that… anyone with kriega or kriega alternatives, where have you placed the straps & do they move around?
