  1. @ChriSixFiftyR That's a darned smart machine, great colour.
  2. Excellent, cheers.
  3. I've just bought some Frank Thomas summer boots, a bit better protection than those, but only just. £69.99 https://youtu.be/V78l0USmOwg
  4. I'd love to fly a helicopter, or even one of those quadcopter thingies, but I'm not good with heights The 152 looks so basic with the GPS screens.
  5. @ChriSixFiftyR Hey Chris, welcome to the forum. Don't be a stranger, and we like pictures.
  6. It does have a separate driver/ballast, but probably not worth it. I was hoping someone might know if it was the driver, or the actual LEDs.
  7. Ah yes, I've seen those, they're worth more than my bike They're so out of budget range. Of course, there's no price on keeping one's legs though.....
  8. Cheers matey, pretty much what I thought. I was just wondering if the driver could cause this issue, but, I think you're right. They were over £100 each, and only managed <2000 hours. I'll use the usual Screwfix ones I have a stock of, they're £30 and will last just as long, if not much longer.
  9. Wow, that's something else! The farmer clearly goes around them, wonder if they're fenced off? The Vulcan bomber is a childhood memory from a day at Biggin Hill air show. That roar was phenomenal, and only matched by Concord.
  10. So I have an LED batten. It's one of the "industrial" types that opens up and has a removable board with two strips of LED's and a 60w driver on the back. Only some of the LEDs light up, maybe just 25%. It's one of three lights, and the others are starting to do the same. Is it the driver, or just shite lights? TIA. This is a fairly good one The shadow in the light is LEDs not working. I've lowered the exposure, they're bright lights.
  11. Bring back Proper boots. I had a nasty crash on my ZX6 twenty five years ago and I was wearing boots that would now only be off-road boots. They were calf high, and had 5 or so hefty cam buckles, but they were styled for sport bike position, so there was plenty of angle for the ankles. They saved my legs for sure. What I have for winter isn't too bad, but my summer boots offer little protection.
  12. If its anything like my place, it'll be your fault anyway. Good luck.
  13. That's one heck of a milestone! Congratulations
  14. Please let us know how you get on Roger. Cheers
  15. Yet again, excellent progress. Although, I don't believe you did all that with one hand
  16. I imagine most are from not so well known brands at the lower end of the budget. Sadly, these are probably bought by those that are most likely to need the protection.
  17. Further down the page is crash helmet testing....
  18. I'm wondering about those brake discs that I bought on eBay
