  1. So the O/H apparently has giant leg muscles....picked up a pair of cheap boots for her off fleabay and they won't zip up. Went to Aldi and started trying their offer ones on...got up to size 8 (shes a 4) and they still were too tight to do up! Any suggestions on places to get the boots altered? Is this a bad idea? I don't want to spend a fortune on them but I want her in proper bike gear when shes riding pillion (or on her own bike if she gets her own way!)
  2. Don't you hate it when a date ends like that? Depends on your taste...2 girls 1 cup?

  5. Well if you put the back on first then you can do the front no problem
  6. There's not trick exept - carefully! Just line up one side of the stand with the swing arm, use one hand on the grab rail to steady the bike and and push the paddock stand down. Bike will straighten up then lift. I've done it a few times on my own, getting it off the paddock stand is scarier, but needs must

    DUCATI 999

haha but driven or not the 24 month service is a biggie. Normally I'd do it myself but its just not practical on a 999. I thnik I read someone a ducatti mechanic allows 13-16 hours for a 2 year 999 service. Now he has the tools and knows what he's doing. It'd take me about 3 months to do it and then it wouldnt start afterwards Its a shame because other than that it is a truly amazing bike. Is that the standard or the s model?

    DUCATI 999

OMG my dream bike!!! Just can't stomach the servicing costs
  20. Just 1 if budget would allow for 2 I'd have them in a shot! Especially as I can't find a single bike that does everything I want it to!
  21. Ironically similar to what happened in my last company car, woman in left hand lane of three lane roundabout went into side of me in middle lane. She got out and said oh I thought I was in the right hand turn lane - I resisted screaming somehow!
  22. Aldi when they are in stock. Or a bike show. I got mine for 60 or 70 pounds
  23. Cheers Stu. I'll be back once I f**k it up haha
