  1. I'm no expert but surely breaking it because you realise it's dodgy is touching on handling stolen goods? I'd be very careful and grateful it was only 220 quid and not an extra zero on there!
  2. I was always told red first
  3. Or buy a second battery. Dead cheap on ebay. Unless you got an iphone or HTC. Then UNLUCKY hehe

Autosol and a hella lot of elbow grease. Hope your forearm is feeling muscly
  5. From what I've seen there's two truimph haynes manuals, older one (daytona, old sprint with roundish headlights) and newer one. I had trouble telling what was what too, so its not just you! I was lucky and the one in halfords was open so I could actually look inside
  6. I'm both jealous and glad it isn't me explaining to my OH what I've bought and why...Best of luck to you. By the way, I am pretty much no use to you whatsoever. lol
  7. brrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmm oo bike sounds lovely. And road is a cracker too. Oh boy do I want to go for a spin, wish it wasn't raining
  8. ARGH Fazer fuel siphoned out without getting a mouthful of fuel (woo for you tube tips) plonked in shell's vpower nitro super dooper shouldcomewithablowjobforthisprice unleaded and some injector cleaner. Ride round block few times, bikes starts running a treat! No hesitation when hard on it! Buyer now unsure if he wants it and is seeing another bike tomorrow f**k IT Turned away 3 (or maybe 4) interested parties because this guy was adamant that if the engine was running sweet he'd take it f**k IT f**k BUYERS f**k EBAY ARRRRGH
  9. Just bought a caberg duke internal sun visor is great, would never buy one without one. and came with free pinlock insert so no steaming up either
  10. to be fair its not just been for sale, its had to sit there and watch me polish the new baby every weekend and then bugger off for long rides...I think its a jealousy thing!
  11. HA very true Tango...karma eh? Anyone got experience with fuel injector cleaner? Its not taxed ATM, I don't want to be going for big rides if I can avoid it lol
  12. Finally got a buyer for the fazer, comes round and she only runs on 3! ARGH Jumps back to 4 with a few revs. Possible sparks, but did them 12 months ago and only done 1000 miles tops so shouldnt be gone. Been sat Nov - May without a good run, reckon fuel injector might have gone? Or just need flushing with cleaner? Either way, cost I don't need right now Going to wimp out and call the garage tomorrow.
  13. gutted they havent done one of these near me yet
  14. The moron in the million old camper van on the A50 today. Coming straight across a 2 lane roundabout, second exit, camper just pulled out in front of me from first exit!!!! I thought he was sneaking out as it was 2 lanes on the next exit so if he had taken first exit, inside lane I'd have gone to second lane and all ok...but no...straight across in front of me at about 5 miles an hour! Quite proud I managed to slow right down, miss him, change down to first, not put a foot down AND find my pathetic horn. He paid no attention whatsoever. Nob.
  15. Thinking about a trip to bakewell on Sunday (yum yum) but post house move I now come from t'other side pennines so would just be a meet in the middle rather than a ride out there together
  16. How fun does that look! 4 hours each way for me so may require some more thorough planning as a weekend away rather than a day trip
  17. You'll be lucky to find anyone. What about one of the days where they provide their bike for you?
  18. The old bike going for mot tomorrow. Terrified it's going to break down (or piss it down)!
  19. Whoop I hope the weather's as good as last year
  20. Went to Swarkestone Causeway (not doing challenge 100, just needed a destination and this won eanie meanie minnie mo) then Matlock in the end, not really Midlands way. Was crazy busy out there

  23. Planning something Monday. Literally we've (i.e. me and my mate) agreed it'll be Monday and somewhere between Manchester and Derbyshire to somewhere else. I'll keep you posted haha
  24. Or maybe this was natural selection at work and you just f**ked it all up and let the weak genes back into the pool. Your decision to not run her over may well have doomed the human race forever. When the Apocalypse comes, just remember, its all your fault.
