  1. Very, very pleased with the outcome of that game.
  2. So I've been riding... about 3 weeks, only on a CBT and today, I had to ride through heavy snow, fog and wind to get home. It was unpleasant to say the least. Visibility was down to about 10 meters and the ground was very, very slippery! But, I survived, through a little common sense but largely thanks to the advice I'd seen in RoadCraft Nottingham's videos on YouTube. This guy owns a riding school in Nottingham and he puts up video lessons of what to do in certain situations, as well as lots of other stuff. If, like me, you are only on a CBT and haven't got a huge amount of experience, go check out his videos! It might help you as much as it helped me and if it does, you'll be glad you watched. Main two useful videos are Rain and Snow; "> "> And this is his channel; https://www.youtube.com/user/RoadcraftN ... ture=watch Hope this helps! If this is in the wrong section, mods are more than welcome to move it! Also, I didn't really know what to title this... Sorry for the bad title
  3. Dude. You're in Fareham? I'll come along if you go the non-motorway route if you're interested.
  4. Regular provisional, yes. And you don't need to do your theory.
  5. Thanks for your help everyone! Based on your advice, I'm drawing up plans for how I'm going to do it all. I'm gonna run em by the mechanic who services my bike when I finish them - he's a nice guy. But yeah, I had no idea about the HID kit and things, so I really appreciate it! What a great place.
  6. So I was riding back to my house after a gig tonight, from Southampton. It was along unlit A roads and the headlight was, frankly, shit. I was riding blind on occasion as I'd see a rough bend and then there would be a dip in the road and then I wouldn't be able to see anything over it. I was riding with my friend on his SV and he had to go in front in the end even though he didn't know the route because it was dangerous how bad my light was. I have already tried replacing the stock bulb with a fresh one, but that didn't help. So I'm wondering about aftermarket headlights. Currently, the light is 12v 35/35w. If I was to put on a 12v 60/55w headlight, would that drain my battery? Or would it by okay? To what extent would I have to change the wiring in the bike? I really appreciate any help that anyone can give! Thanks in advance chaps/chapesses!
  7. The main point of this 'restoration' is for you to learn as much as possible right? You'd probably learn more rebuilding it yourself than someone else doing it. I don't know ANYTHING about engine rebuilding though, so my advice may be bad
  8. Can you not just put the reg into some kind of reg checker? It should tell you exactly what bike it is then.
  9. My Dad's been unemployed for 11 years and has been applying for jobs daily but not getting any. I imagine it's to do with his age and how appropriate his qualifications are and stuff. There are hard working people who are on benefits, but there are a lot of people who have been fiddling the system... You can't keep a huge pedigree dog on benefits, but so many people do. I think the comments in this thread are aimed at such people who do fiddle the system, not poor people who live in tiny flats with cheap food.
  10. I believe the correct term for a burger made out of horse meat is a beef burger. I'm definitely on the side of 'stop at 2 unless you can afford otherwise'. How can she give any of those kids anywhere near the amount of attention they need? She can't. She's a criminal in my eyes... Scammed the system at the expense of kids lives.
  11. You're not a biker, if you were, you wouldnt leave the site after one thread!!! Mods should delete all links you've posted as you clearly came on here just to post links, not talk about bikes... SPAMMER!!! The spammers are so sneaky, they don't even know they are spammers. Spanners. Where did all that religious stuff come from?!
  12. Thanks for that! Bookmarked for later use.
  13. With A1 you can only ride a 125 You don't need to have done A1 to be able to sit A2 at 19, you can just do it as soon as you hit 19 2 years after A2 you can sit DAS (or 24, whichever comes first) I meant I could get a restricted 600 at 19 Might as well save the money and not do the A1 then.
  14. As far as I can see, if I do my A1 in the next 2 years, I can get a 600cc bike and restrict it and do my A2 shortly after turning 19, then at 21 I can do my full test? If they don't change it again before then

    £££ advice

I'd sell it off in parts as in shell pack, snare, hardware and cymbals. That's how you'll get the most. What have you got? Was it the Saturn and the Sabians that were in your studio video? If so, £1600 is a cruel price. You should get more than that.
