The Vista is near enough an exact copy of the Suzuki Marauder GN125, and you're much more likely to find info on putting one of those back together. There's even a Haynes manual available for them, which is more than can be said for any bike made by Sinnis! Try searching for info about reassembling a Marauder and it should all look pretty similar. The Amazon Fire stick is awesome, £20 well spent! I don't watch any normal TV and between the two of them Netflix and Prime offer almost all the films in my DVD collection, so it's just one remote for all my film viewing needs and no fecking about with consoles or DVD players or smart TV price tags.

Just discovered that my topbox leaked a little when I rode home in the rain last Friday, and my summer gloves (which were the only thing in there) are now moldy. f**k it.

I have to say, the Chinese rubber on my old bike was actually shockingly good! Did one hell of a lot of miles in all kinds of weather with nowhere near enough attention being paid to tyre pressure and they held up really well. Right at the end of their life by the time the bike was written off, but they'd done 5 figures by then I'm sure that only being mounted on a 125 was a factor in that, but still... Only lost traction three times that I can recall and once was on a carpet of hailstones, once on a diesel spill, and the other time was my own stupid fault

Awesome, TMBF gets things sorted once again Also, scraping your peg only counts if the bike returns to a vaguely upright position after the corner - otherwise it's just called binning it I can give very good advice on what not to buy and how to repair Chinese or German bikes, I have extensive experience in those fields

Only one from TMBF there once again! You didn't miss much though, they didn't bother with the BBQ and there were no exciting bikes besides the regulars. CBX guy has fitted a HID headlight which utterly blinded a lot of us, and the guy with the Panigale and Diavel now also has a brand new V-Strom. Woohoo. Weather was well behaved, at least.

Anyone else going this week? Looks like the rain has cleared up, so I'll probably set off for the Swan at 7:30ish. Going to give the Missing Sock a look next time there's properly good weather.

18 months is damn good going! Especially living near the sea! My Chinese bike once rusted when I parked it near the seafront for 24 hours WD40 + rag and lots of buffing to get rid of the rust, then ACF50 to stop it happening again

Yeah, you can get a full licence for automatics only. Got a mate who has one. Think you have to follow pretty much the same examination structure but with some slight changes to the practical tests.
