Sorted thanks mate, got the parts and all fitted now
-
It's all clean n the bolt comes out fine, but the clamp won't come off lol
-
Hi mate, that was exactly what I have planned tomoroow, tried to get it off last night but it wasn't having any of it.

Gears failed on my cbr 125 on the way home today, pedal just traveled really far down can't get it out of first. I think this is that cause: The clasp/clamp seems to move but not the spindle it's attached to. I have tried tightening it etc to no end, with no luck, I assume the teeth on the clamp are one as the spindle notches seem in goo order. Anyway any ideas what the clamp bit is called because I can't find it anywhere. All help appreciated Dave

I'm in Ashford middlesex and can recommend someone

Is the chain lubed, I have a cbr125 but I find I loose 5mph when it starts to dry up. Also I run mine on vpower nitro plus which gives another 4mph on top
-
I was the same when I started, size 12 feet don't help either lol. Don't worry, you'll get used to it
-
I really don't think its the tensioner, tensioner would not change with heat. What about valve clearances ??
-
What millage are you and which bike?
-
If the tension on the chain is losse then the tensioner is probably gone, or if you have a constant rattle

Nice one, I was looking at the 04 plate 320D to replace my very problematic mondeo 04 tdci.
-
Haha love it, tell me you don't actually use that? Lol
-
Sweet, might give that a go, what do you store it in? And do you filter it before use ?
-
I've briefly heard of them before and thought about looking into it, but never got round to it. Where is best to get one? And are they bike specific?
-
Cheap?? Lol cheapest I can find is £8. And I'm a commuter so going through it fairly quick lol. Where as the one on my Op was £3 something lol
-
Ill stick to my usual, its only cos that was dirty cheap lol. Also heard people using filtered old engine oil?
-
Surely if that one is ptfe then its fine? I emailed them and they told me its what most of their customers buy it for....
