  1. Mr Fro

    Tight link

Might be worth ringing around some garages/workshops to see if they can weld it up. Have you had the nut off yet?
  2. Sounds like a dodgy connection somewhere. That or the battery is on the way out.
  3. Alas I'm moving out of Cambridgeshire and to the county of carrot crunchers. Not that I want to abandon the Cambridge meet but it's getting on for an hour away from my new place. Does anyone know of any meets that occur in the Suffolky area? Cheers, Fro
  4. You having a bit of a tough day Ollie?
  5. Or pop a scoop near the exhaust manifold like cars do (or did).
  6. It's quite a lot warmer down here in the south.
  7. Could be carb icing but it's a little bit warm for that isn't it? Plus I would have though your bike would have carb warmers unless it's >20 years old! I'm leaning towards a vent blockage in the tank - pressure released when you filled up. If it happens again, try popping the tank cap and see what happens.
  8. I'll see your cracker toy and raise you my secret Santa prezzie - it does wheelies and everything. http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx246/Mr_Fro/IMAG0067.jpg
  9. Yeah, like Matty says - pretty easy stuff. Just make sure you get the right diameter pipe and that the flaring too will take that size.
  10. We'll have to sort you out some ballast so you don't make us all look bad!
  11. Take a spare set of sliders then!
  12. Yes.
  13. Okey dokes. It looks like a race type thing with a pre-season taster to hook us in!
  14. Anybody heard of these guys? They're offering ACU courses and track day at ridiculous prices - £79 and £45+ respectively...
  15. Wish I could join you! Earliest I'm allowed out to play is 28th Feb. Funny how mid week days are a bit thin on the ground this year...
  16. See you at Cadwell!
  17. Yeah, same. EBay screen and digitiser fitted without problems.
  18. No.
  19. I've seen worse! Wot mega said.
  20. If you're going to do it proper courier style you should get a cheap second, or even third hand top box with loads of cracks in and use some grubby bungee cords to hold it down.
  21. Join in one of the meets or ride outs then matey. There will be plenty of people swishing about your neck of the woods (including myself) on the hunt for tags.
  22. My point is proven! Top tips slimjim: 1 - You want to be ~2/3rds out in to the carriageway, not in the gutter. 2 - Where practicable, a good minimum distance you should be from a stationary vehicle is the length of a car door. 3 - You should practice doing lifesavers before and during turns/manoeuvres.
  23. I'm so bored of vloggers now. Tedious people droning on about even more tedious things. Often making a showcase of their bad riding.
