Sidi vertiigo's they have a calf adjuster at the back - I love them

I wouldnt use any of the above boots, doesnt look like you get much protection in them.
how much you got to spend? is 50 sheets your limit
Phil the type and style of your riding differs greatly to this lads (nearly everyone is younger than me I can call him a lad )
He rides a 125
and
he is currently riding in trainers
So as has been said - anything is better than what he is currently using
and I would guess there is a financial limit as well as he is probably too old for Santa now
-
I have had two sets of Pirelli Diablo sports this year and got nearly 4000 out of each set.
-
To be honest I think these are your best bet so far

Tall enough not to get too much water over the top when you splash through puddles ( is that only me? )
Good ankle and shin protection.
Are you using leathers or textiles?
Please don't say Denim
-
They look decent boots - ANYTHING (well nearly) is better than trainers!!!
Oh shouldn't this be in the next section down

Rosie,
I believe he also corrected your pronunciation I saw him last night (Thurs) in Weston.
yes he did cos I said " boom thingywatsit"
-
Rosie say hi to Taff, Paddy & Nick for me.
Better if you see Taff say 'bomchickawowwaa' and let me know what reaction you get.
I did and he nearly wet himself laughing
Not surprised, he had no idea I know of you and it was from 4 years ago. Did he explain what it is about ?
erm no other than to say it was a long story and for another time

Sorry for delay on posting - been otherwise engaged.....
but to complete the thread.....
A very, very wet day but an absolutely awsome one!!
A very humbling experience as well.
I was back marker for a couple of runs ( second run was a different route but hey ho we just followed the Police!!!)
There were loads of folk there - so much for "fair weather riders" - will try and post some pics to demonstrate.
If you were there sorry I missed you - but I waved to loads of bikes as they were leaving for their runs.
A thank you from the Brigadier
">Someone's video of a few runs
">Newspaper report showing the waiting riders

I will be there - registered in slot two cos we had to...
but I will also be marshalling
Please come over and say Hi - you can't miss me - big girl / big bike
Oh and I think I will be forced to wear one of those erm um eeek vest thingies
-
am I sober yet??
-
I would say an all weather rider
but
with limits?? if that is possible
I don't ride between November and March mainly as I live next to the sea and the salt air is enough to corrode my bike withour the salt in the road adding to it.
I don't have anywhere dry and warm to store my bike on a day to day basis
and the main reason
I'm getting too old for all that
-
nice boots but should this thread not be in the clothing section
-
Just about recovered from the pastie now, was great to see you again Rosie
Braver person than me - all I had was 2 tins of Diet Coke and 2 kitkats.
If it ain't tinned or wrapped I wont touch it
And yes great to see u again too
-
will be there this evening if anyone wants to say hello.
