you too could go faster

weather permitting off in the morning to try not to fall off again

one question from me though.... are they ok for track days?
reason i ask is that the track day advice says two piece leathers must be fully zipped front to rear. the RST leathers have a zip which almost comes to the front. are they considered ok?
Yes they are ok.... some leathers only have a small zip accross your back and they are not allowed.
-
I recently got a new set of RST leathers I'm sure they are Rift
from J&S in Doncaster. 20% off so uner £300 for the set including a knox back protector.
So far I've not had any problems with them
-
glad u had a fairly good day..... I ended up grouting tiles
Better luck with the weather next time.
Not looking good for me for Santa Pod this sat
-
woken up to very wet here in Hornsea
May give this a miss this time.
my number is in contacts if anyone does go send me a text and I may bob over if it dries up
-
we were late leaving.
Very good roads to Boston, good food at cafe and then a look at the time and the weather and decided to leave Rutland for another day.
Back to Willie woods for about 4pm quick brew then home.
about 150ish good miles
I'm happier on my bike now too
next outing Cadwell on wed
-
ok a bit last minute - but then sometimes these things are
Will be at Willingham woods for about 11.15.
Leaving at 11.30ish for a run to Rutland water via the farmhouse cottage cafe.
There will be me / Fazer, Kev / Busa, John / Fireblade and Gixxerkev / Fireblade from the GJ's.
So that says what the pace will be ... well with me at the rear as usual

MLC not answer text
so may have to meet her there I hope.
-
doh sorry Craig
I meant Saturday - today.
-
will be popping down there at about 3 - 3.30pm to meet some mates and as an excuse to scrub in new tyres.
Collecting midlifecrisis and her shiney new bike on the way there too.
-
I went and it was a good turnout.
I only managed a couple of hours but it was enought time to chat to loads of folk that I had not seen for ages.
-
all being well Kev and I will be there
-
Sorry won't be able to make this now.
Out on bike all day Sat so I have a date with a paintbrush on sunday
ho hum enjoy your meeting
-
Well done getting out and more importantly enjoying riding your bike
Think a few are meeting up at Willie Woods on Sunday ???
I'm popping to the Bikesafe open day at the Humber Bridge.
You can get an hour long observed ride for free that day which is great fun
-
I will be popping into the Bikesafe open day to show my face at the Humber Bridge at some point on Sunday.
Not sure yet if I'll make it that far down as I'll have been out to Hawes the previous day on a RoSPA ride out so no doubt rather knackered
-

Glad you had a great day
I got my drain unblocked so I suppose I'm happy about that
Which sports tourer?

I chose the Fazer.... but then I would.
I have no problem with power output. The suspension on it is infinitely more adjustable and the brakes are far better and it is also a far more stylish bike as the Bandit always looks a bit dated.
The Fazer thou is a very different bike to the 600, but just as much "fun" once you get used to it.
You shouldn't have the same problem with the tank bag that I have.... bit squashed
The fueling is only an issue if you let it be .... there are plenty of aftermarket gizmos either new or second hand to sort any potential problem out.
