  1. I'm going to be there, don't know how yet as bike still in bits http://www.cosgan.de/images/midi/traurig/a025.gif

we spent at least 5 hours working on her today and at least the servo motor works

just the actual exup valve to replace now...... thinking I may just get my 600 on the road so I have wheels 8-)

  2. Ok, sorry this is a no~show from me :(

Other half has had bike in bits today. Now it has 4 new spark plugs and starts first go...... it will have a new oil filter when the tool for removing the existing one arrives from fleaybay ~ despite a garage full of tools.

As for the exup valve it is still steeping in gunk to try and free it up.

Other half says it has never ever seen grease all it's life

soooooooo that's me bikeless for the moment.

I'm trying to convince myself that it doesn't matter as it will be flippin freezing and there will be other times..............

    Sorry.

  3. Thursday????????????

    Weather looks pants until then.

  5. I'm gonna remember that one Rosie! A cracking idea........although how much help a 5 year old and a 2 year old would be is open to debate!

they were a bit older and helped by carrying helmet and pushing back when going up the hills .... more importantly they were company !!

did they learn any new words that day ??

    erm, erm, thinks :!:

nope ~ had said them all when the 4 bikes passed without stopping before they got there

  6. .....at least I was just the other side of town and got my kids to walk over to where I was and help me push the ruddy thing home

  7. I have to say that it depends on the situation...

If I'm by myself and it's a rural area I would have to give serious thought about it.

    But

when I'm with other half we have done on many occasions at least slowed down until we get the thumbs up or stopped if we didn't.

When I broke down on my 600 (clutch cable went  ) at least 4 bikes went past and nobody stopped :(
