Thanks for the PM, glad you took the advice mart ,those guys on there really know their stuff ,careful of offers for tempting on the road trades remember you have a genuine piece of motorbike history ,stick with it however long it takes ,if it were mine i would keep it as a oily rag racer got a great contact who hand makes alloy tanks when your ready ,had a couple made myself his workmanship is excellent and wont break the bank ,original LYTAs are fetching £800 + ATM, looking at the high res pics unfortunately doesn't have the double damper conversion again if you go that route further down the line i have all the parts required including a super rare original Taylor Dow Superleggera 1950s race top yolk i will be following this on britbike and look forward to seeing it back to its former glory.
