  1. What model was it? DUCATI SCRAMBLER SIXTY2 400cc When did you buy it and how much did it cost? demo ride cost £6500 Good points?lightweight, low seat height, nimble easy to ride, looks awesome Bad points? rattley and poor finish, no fuel gauge, HUGE MAHOOOSIVE MIRRORS Would you get another? damn right Any other comments? this bike bought the biggest grin to my face all day.. like riding a 125cc bike but still accelerating at 90mph
  2. What model was it? HONDA NC750X 2016 DCT When did you buy it and how much did it cost? LOAN BIKE BUT £6500 NEW Good points? Comfy, loads of storages and easy to get on with, rides lovely and gets a move on when you open the loud handle Bad points? for me the bike was too tall, so being stationary was the worst, but it has a real noisy gearbox, bike was heavy Would you get another? if it could be lowered maybe Any other comments? great bike, a few issues for my with height and weight (both bike and myself ), for my normal riding it would be a pain, but if i was planning and doing loads of touring.... would buy one.. its made me consider selling the cb500f and getting a 500x

  6. Official Thread for those wanting to meet up and do the Kent Challenge 100 Castles and Pubs. Part 1 Kent. https://goo.gl/maps/dPtPsYaiP6v The plan is to meet up at this spot: Nottcutts Garden centre, just off theM20, A249 Maidstone. 10 am. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Newnham+Court+Inn+-+Fayre+%26+Square,+Bearsted+Rd,+Weavering,+Maidstone,+Kent+ME14+5LH/@51.284354,0.552586,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x47df3272935b9373:0xa9c2ed506976b894 From there we will miss the first 2 points atm as startpoint is my house and second is just the horseshoes, im sure there are others around. We can do the complete route, stop at the nearest pub around lunch time for a bit and then carry one. I think we can fit the Horseshoes in after The royal oak. It'll be a gentle run, and pray for good weather. Ill update the map when i get home to the revised route not via my house:P update: date changed due to conflict with TOGS

    Heart monitor

my father (79) had a heart attack just before Xmas and i am well chuffed with the care he got. My father lives in france and is having a good retirement, lots of good food and wine etc etc .. you get the picture. he had pains in his chest and called an ambulance, the got him to the local hospital to stablise him and then after a consultation moved him to montpelier cardiac hospital.... drilled out 3 arteries and inplanted stents, and he was released with a week of being admitted. hes never felt healthier .... but they have said they are expecting him to walk vigorously for 30 mins a day..... and then put him through a stress test after 3 months..... the whole event didnt phase him, but hes petrified about the stress test.... atm he gets a lift to the coffee shop, has his daily coffee and croissant and then walks back, he dont like doimg it but as i said, keep it up you wont use the car so much and your pension money will go further. Heart surgery and monitoring equipment is amazing these days... keeps me in a job..
  9. phooey sad news, sometimes good relationships just implode without warning, your missus is probably hurting as much as you are... 20 years is along time and shit you guys defo gave it a go. on the bright side, when most people are in a rut you have to climb out and brush yourself off, only to realise that the grass is not greener.... time is a healer, give each other space, go have some fun, do some touring..... friends, if you need any you can have mine im bored of them beers and cheers, my employer is in kidderminster and im gonna be that way a few weekends this year so beers.... being an old port town/city of bristol i doubt the sex part of your objectives will be a problem. just being an old duffer relationships these days dont seem to last forever like in olden days or until one dies... why is that iyt cant be the fact that people dont get on..... is it beause people would rather believe the hype of happily ever after .. or am i just being daft.... phooey head up and look forward, at least you can look at womens boobs without have death rays beamed into the back of your head.
