Good Evening I'm not enjoying this "consultation" period much! getting up at 4am and daytime traffic don't agree with me! No idea how long it's going to go on for before he actually gives us redundancy notice. Then no idea what I'm going to do after that!

We were looking at getting marine accreditation a while ago but it never happened We already make mainly tractor/plant/commercial stuff. Almost no car crankshafts recently. I haven't completely given up that 1 of the bigger plant customers may buy us out! ( They'll have to get their crankshafts from somewhere)

Good Afternoon looks like I'll be looking for some sort of new employment in a few months! All a bit up in the air at the moment but the company I work for is going to cease to trade. consultation period starts Monday (All engineering staff going in on days) Probable redundancy period after that. I really don't fancy trying to get a new job at my stage in life!
