I found the answer. . And I also... found an answer! A firm who can make the bracket that fits but is flat. I'll link it because some of you guys/girls may find it of use.

I'm looking at options for changing my front fender. My only question is in regards to the front fender brace/hanger for the 1200. How big is it??? I've found a few but they all are very "1200 only" if dimensions are the same then what's the problem? I have a 1200 front fender and don't wanna mod a 600 brace as I might make it look pants. 600 curved and 1200 flat. I guess knowing if the forks are the same would answer the question.

Same problem here. Want to do my wheels but now unsure if they are actually powder coated or wet painted.

Though it's not pleasing to see you experiencing issues... its not half teaching me some stuff about my bike. I just realised where a stray rubber pipe now probably goes.
-
Just close my visor... I don't ride along rapidly opening and closing it. Cos that'd be strange.

Steels were fine. Looked as new. No discolouring or warping. The springs are stiffer. There's play in the clutch lines. Bloody baffles me now. It does go away though when warmed. Different days it takes different times. I mean I can actually live with it because usually by the time I'm ready to open close my visor It's generally warmed up and not slipping anymore. But mooching around the town or to work and if I need to over take or even had to move quickly I'd he screwed.

The second plates were in for days... Literally. I'm using or used 10 40 castrol. Bike specific. I bought some castrol gtx for a car but now I don't wanna use it regardless of whether it's any use or not.

Ok so I've tried new friction plates twice... and springs.. twice!! Cables adjusted correctly also twice. I still get slip when I open the old girl #cougar up. One last thing that sprung to mind.. I have an after market exhaust system that promises raised bhp. Little dyno infograph says so. up until recently the exhaust wasn't fitted to the highest of standards so there were definite air gps along the line. Now its fully sealed and what I'd like to think as properly fitted. Is it possible the extra power is actually outdoing the capacity of he friction plates?? Also... it goes away after a good warm up.

Delivery not too bad, I got an alpine star jacket which I'm using, I got it within 2 weeks and the delivery charge was quite reasonable considering the size and the weight, think it was only £7, I ordered that in September last year Two weeks ain't to bad really.
-
Or pop into a shop and try on the brands sizes. Should give a good enough indication. Fc moto is based in Germany? What's delivery time like.. I've have one experience and it wasn't so great.

If my seals don't come it'll be the option I take for the weekend..
-
It drives me f ING mad.. even when going or opening up that little pathetic hiss is there in the back ground. I dried to create a seal this morning. Just waiting on new parts to arrive. Resisting urge to exhaust putty it. Just be messy doing it that way.

If I don't fix this what happens?? It will be fixed Friday probs as the noise bugs me greatly. But I like to learn.

I've not see any and I looked far and wide.. its the contact point for the palms. It needs to allow slide and no man made products do that like leather I guess. -
4 pipes at engine, one is blowing at manifold... I did it up in the wrong order instead of reversing the process. Gets hot instantly so made rectifying the problem painful. It'll wait til the morning. The noise is frustrating so it must be fixed.
-
One of the downpipes isn't connected proper which is very annoying. You can hear it isn't sealed.

you sometimes have to butcher oil filters to get them off. stab them with a big screwdriver and wrench them round. I was thinking exactly along those lines.... then I thought what if that doesn't go to plan. Doubt won that battle.
-
Everything but the oil filter change went to plan.. oil filter is having none of it.. that's with the correct tool. No leaks I can see. Though the exhaust at manifold sounds slightly different. That may be my ears though.

Replacement just came.. sump plug is fitted. Looks horribly tight again. I wonder if wd40 will help.

With these services it was always destined to happen.. its like the individual channel wars of yesteryear. But now you have to pay for every bloody channel as opposed to the 5 (license permitting) freebies. Just opt out and get downloading or a buddy who will download for you.
