  1. It's a 2004 ZX6R-B1 (I think!) B1H Haha!..cheers, at least someone knows!
  2. Will do, thanks. I did wash it yesterday so may have disturbed something?...I really hope so anyway! I'll have a look after work tomorrow and update. Thanks!
  3. It's a 2004 ZX6R-B1 (I think!)
  4. ..and thanks everyone, I'm going to give a few more miles and see if it gets any louder! I'll try and get a recording in the meantime! ....but, new problem! (Should have stuck with the Suzuki!)....riding along today and the bloody instrument panel just died and then came back on a couple of seconds later, it did exactly the same thing again about 10 miles later! No loss of power..just no display!
  5. Awesome, cheers..it sounds to be in that region, I took it to the local bike shop this morning and the mechanic had a listen and said "sounds sweet to me!"..apparently it's just a Kawasaki thing?...I'm not convinced, but I'll see how it goes I guess...maybe I'm just being paranoid!
  6. Yeah that sounds good mate, let me know when you're heading this way next! Have you ever been to the Reepham meet?
  7. The Ninja is Ticking and think it's the automatic CCT that Kawasaki fit, not keeping enough tension on the cam chain...(apparently very common)..but before I buy another (probably manual one), it would be good if anyone with any experience of them could have a listen!? I've tried recording it, but it makes it sound completely different! I've read about a way to tighten the existing CCT, but I'm reluctant to try it incase something else is making the noise and I then add an over tightened cam chain to the mix! ^ I hope that makes some sense! Thanks.
  8. That's pretty f*cked up...
  9. Of coarse the lorry driver should have allowed for it..but does anyone else think that the pillars on cars etc.. are getting dangerously big nowadays? In their quest for safety, manufactures have created another massive blind spot! The amount of times I've had to creep slowly and blindly around a bend because the bloody pillar is blocking my view!..but still obviously the lorry drivers fault in this video!

    New ride!

Impeccable taste! What crash bungs have you got on there? R&G bungage. They were on the bike when i bought it. Best thing ive done to it so far is fitting the 07/08 clocks. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff215/tuktuk_photo/Mobile%20Uploads/20150615_202211_zpsnawzlbfp.jpg Cheers! The dials look nice, I think I prefer the analogue rev counter...you can hardly see the digital one when the suns on it!

Pmsl!..it still starts with a 6! I'll try to incorporate the funky chicken to my pre ride ritual... Pockets zipped, lid fastened...funky chicken!

I have read somewhere about adjusting the bars or raising them?..I'll give it a little longer and see if I can adjust my positioning to help it!

its all about core strength. practice holding yourself up with your stomach muscles, not resting your weight on your arms... or just ride really fast so the air pushing against your chest holds you up! Haha!..cheers, I'll give it a go...I'd best start doing some sit ups!

    New ride!

Thanks!..nothing planned for a while (house move coming up!).. Probably a smaller exhaust and some clear indicators in the future though!

..well, new to me! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/23/d048b06ab6d8bfbc871bda9809ca104e.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/23/7d085c761a890323f6e15ce6421f9f4a.jpg 2004 636....rode it 10 miles home and my wrists were killing!!..I'm hoping they're going to toughen up!
  18. I've got some Buffalo Coolflow...I can't compare them to any others (as they're the only summer trousers I own!)...but I'm happy with them. My only gripe with them are the massive knee pads!
  19. I'd add a set of waterproofs and a bag to carry them in, British weather can change very quickly!...plus riding in the wet is another challenge and actually quite fun! Some of the gear you've chosen is quite pricey..but if you've got a big budget..treat yourself! But don't assume that the more you spend, the safer you'll be. [emoji106]
  20. Awesome, love the gold/white combination!
  21. Are you doing exactly what your instructor is telling you to do regarding slow riding?.. Holding revs, slipping clutch and dragging the rear brake aren't exactly the most natural/logical thing to do (especially for an engineer!)..but once you get the hang of it, all of the slow maneuvers become a lot easier!
  22. Silverstone is hideously expensive compared to a lot of circuits. I looked into going to the British F1 GP weekend this year...even with the extra travelling..it would be quite a bit cheaper to go to Spa!
  23. It's probably going to be a shock to me when I take a trip outside of Norfolk then! 99% of cars move over for me and I've always done the same when in the car (you may have been one of them this weekend!)....I assumed most places were the same!?
