  1. If you do book both (as I did) make sure you leave 4 (might be 3..can't remember!) working days in-between, that way if you fail the mod 1, you won't lose you're fee when you have to cancel/reschedule your mod 2. I'm sure you'll be fine, mod 1 is about controlling your nerves as much as anything!
  2. The guys at Tinklers are very helpful..but not sure about stock quantity, there's a Ktm dealership in Rackheath (I think!) that has quite a lot of stock if you're wanting have a brouse!..although I've been in there twice and yet to see a member of staff!!
  3. Had it been sitting for while? Mine had before I bought it and it took a few days of regular use before it improved. Starts fine now!
  4. Lol, I had exactly the same thing with a guy on a Fazer that used to see on my commute, he ignored me twice when I was on my 125 before I gave up, now I'm on a 600 he nods..although I can't bring myself to ignore him......I'm weak...
  5. I wear textiles at the mo, but I'm thinking about getting some RST Tracktech Evo in the summer, available in 1 or 2 piece.
  6. Lol, I am basically Apple and Microsoft support for my Parents and Aunts/Uncles! Its taken a few years, but they all seem to be getting the hang of it...until the next OS is released!
  7. A few years ago, Michael Jackson eating popcorn would have popped up about now..

Not sure if it's what this one is, but I know a guy that's got a a carbon Delkevic stubby on his bandit and it sounds awesome!
  11. Well done mate! Enjoy your Cbt, are getting a 125 or going straight for the biggy?!
  12. ^^^ I think if the BBC was pay per view, they'd probably get off their PC high horse and actually start making things that the public wants to watch and not what they think we should be watching!
  13. Totally up to you of course, but why not get your full license and then just buy a smaller engined bike? There are also lots of 600cc bikes that aren't savagely fast (mines just over 80bhp!)..seems a lot of extra uneccesary stress and cost to do your tests twice!

    I love my 125

Brilliant bikes and looks like a nice tidy example!
  15. I'm no expert, but I would have thought if there is play when you turn the bars..it would be the wheel bearing. But just my opinion, I'm sure someone a little more knowledgeable will be able to help!

Cheers, there a a few more dinks than the picture shows!..but not too bad!
  17. My brother in law, who is a traffic warden, was talking to just such a person a few weeks ago. A middle-aged woman, so he was about to say well done for learning now, just like my sister in law - and she said O no, I just do my CBT every two years! 1. I can't understand how anybody would want to be permanently on Ls, even if they didn't want a big bike 2. The CBT was stressful enough - why not do your bike test and get it over with once and for all? Cost probably plays quite a big part, £80 for a CBT vs £450+ for DAS, assuming they want a bigger bike. (thats what mine cost anyway!)
  18. I think it's to do with the mindset as much as anything, yes there are lots of little idiots tearing up town centres on twist n' go's...but there are just as many little idiots in chav'd up hatchbacks doing the same thing..and they've completed theory, hazard perception and practical tests!
  19. I had few of the CGI sample ones at the end of my hazard perception..soo much better than "VHS" quality definition of the real ones! But I agree, the CGI was a bit surreal!

    The GSX600F

Here it is, it's a 1998 so has a few knocks!..but overall pretty tidy. I should be adding another bike to the collection later this year (when we move to a house with a garage!).. But I'm more than happy with this in the mean time! http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k454/benjistorey/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-03/Screenshot_2015-03-21-14-34-52_zps5aiyuwga.png
  21. I'd say do a cbt on a 125 geared bike anyway, they'll then be able to advise you depending on your ability what your best next move would be regarding your full license. (plus you'll have a cbt at the end of it!)
