Hi. Once you finish the theory questions and are happy you can go straight on to the hazard perception. All the best tomorrow.

Hi ste. I realise your mind is made up, but have you thought of passing your A licence to get it out of the way and then pay some extra money on advance training? As Edd says there is nothing stoping you getting a smaller engines bike. Just my thoughts.

Motorbike test question.
Jnestie replied to Sunsprie's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
I was told just before moving off including the pushing manoeuvres at the start. On the U-turn you need to do shoulder checks before moving off. Start moving then do a lifesaver then keep moving forward and then do your u-turn. -
Yes it can be used against tax but grey area wether it is a capital allowance or an expense. That's what my wife says anyway.

Motorbike test question.
Jnestie replied to Sunsprie's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Hi. On the mod 1 you need to do checks before moving off every time. The examinor will be watching for these from the moment you get hold of the bike to push it into the compound until you get off the bike at the end. How far along with the training are you. I would sit down with your instructor and ask if you are unsure of anything. He/she will be more than happy to explain your lifesavers. My instructor would scream at me anytime I forgot a lifesaver, you soon remember to do them then. All the best -
Very tidy mate. Bet that expansion chamber takes some polishing

New improved CBT
Jnestie replied to iiisecondcreep's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
I did my cbt twice before deciding to take my das. In my opinion the cbt alone doesn't give enough knowledge for new riders. I had previous experience from driving cars so Knew the rules of the road/Highway Code. Some new riders who take the cbt have no idea what's going on. More training can only be a good thing. -
Thought i'd post some better pics as shes now clean

Module 2 - members test experiences
Jnestie replied to a topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
It's a week now since I passed my mod 2. It's nice to be sleeping and eating once again as I was a total reck before my test. I was greeted to terrible weather high winds and heavy rain. The examinor wanted to cancel but thankfully decided to let me have a go. I fluffed my show and tell questions but he seemed happy enough. I was only out on the roads for 20minutes as the weather was so bad. My ride alone was not on the section of road I was expecting so I just slowed everything down to make sure I was following the correct roads. In my opinion your instructor will train you to a higher level than the examinor expects, so the best thing you can do is try to relax (as much as you can) and slow everything down. All the effort and nerves you put in will be more than worth it when you pass the test. All the best for your test.
