  1. we used to have a BT one but we struggled to hear each other over 50mph, then we had another lad join us, and we wanted a headset that all 3 of us could chat at the same time. This headset works for us, well over 70mph https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00PLHEGKM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  2. Sorry to hear your troubles fella, There are companies that buy properties below market value, I dont know if this would be an option? In regards to your ex, I've been there, wasted thousands on rubbish solicitors. I did however learn about a website called families need fathers. Where I got loads of advise and even managed to get a Mckenzie Friend to help me prep legal paperwork and petition the courts. Hope things go your way eventually.
  3. I recently purchased this https://www.hein-gericke-outlet.com/accessories/hein-gericke-luggage/hein-gericke-sponsor-roll-bag-matt-black-60-litre.html Just got back from a couple of days away. Quite a good bag
  4. sorry maybe I could have been clearer, Yeah when he got back from taking the first two out, he'd sign them off if they passed and then he'd take the remaining two out on the road for their part, of the on road training.
  5. I did my CBT with an instructor on a 4 to 1 basis. We more or less just jumped on the bikes. Learned basic control, ie speed up slightly, slow down slightly and stop. then he slowly introduced gears and mouvers. 2 would do one manouver over and over again on one side of the playground and the other 2 would practice other manouvers on the other. Yes 4 to 1 sounds a lot but i felt he managed it well. Looked for what area's needed improving on, and I felt that went quite well. After lunch he took two out on the road whom he felt was most confident. and left the other 2 to keep practicing manouvers. So dont be put off if its not a 1 to 1, you can find decent schools out there whom can still give you the care and attention you need. You'll get there eventually. Just take your time.
  6. the back of your licence looks just like mine, so to me your've got your full licence.
  7. I found MOD1 a lot harder than MOD2, the slow manouvers I enjoyed it was the fast ones that scared me. I failed MOD1 twice, passed on the third go. MOD2 was literally just a nice ride around. Turn left here. Straight ahead here. Pull up there. Move on when your ready. So keep checking your blind sports and you should be good to go
  8. I purchased a zontes tiger, did me very well for the two years I had it, even had a road trip on it, down to great yarmouth and back, roughly 322 miles in all. Only got rid cox I went onto pass my DAS and bout a bigger bike. Sold my zontes to a neighbour whom uses it to commute to and from work. hasn't given him any issues and thats about 3 years ago now.
  9. thanks for the input, the prices differ quite a bit on the ones I've seen. There seems to be quite a lot on the market these days. I might look into getting amid range one, price wise and see how it goes.
  10. Ive been looking into getting a throat mic with ear piece. For attaching to my bluetooth headset. read a few reviews on amazon, but was wondering if anyone on here has tried them out before? and if so were they ok, or a waste of money?

yeah but a lot less death
  12. Im just commented from personal experience. I've been caught twice in the last 3 years and both times they said I could request to see photographic evidence, if so required before making a formal declaration as to whom was driving. This might just be a humberside police thing but it did happen and on one occasion I did ask for proof as I wasn't even sure how I'd been caught, as I wasn't intentionally speeding, well I thought i wasn't lol

I do world war 2 re-enacting, get to camp, play with guns and do battles, its brill stuff. The whole family come along and dress up too.
  14. Surely you get the option to view photographic proof? I know I did when I got caught speeding and I wasn't sure how. Its been known for the police camera to tag another vehicle, be it in the distance or along side and the camera confuses whom was driving.
  15. my friend and I both bought a £30 bluetooth intercom system from ebay. done us quite well over the last 3-4 years. once we go over 60mph its gets a little hit and miss hearing what the other is saying but at lower speeds it works fine, even with me wearing ear defenders. We are lookg at getting £65 ones purely becuase we now have another buddy whom comes out biking with us and we all want the option to be able to speak at the same time.
  16. Saw this too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181908194121" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  17. Its acutally Humberside police operating in my neck of the woods. Ive attached a screen shot of where he was hiding when I was caught. Just infront of the national sign, on the left side. I know its no excuse for speeding, but I was distracted by the boy being naughty in the back of the car, he'd of seen me looking over my shoulder. Looked round and saw him. Didn't know if i was speeding or not. That is his usual spot to hide, So I'm normallly aware
  18. I got caught in a similar way, a couple of years ago doing 35mph in a 30 just shy of a national. He was hidiing by a bridge at the time.
  19. he was, Im just used to them having their bikes, right next to them. As there was two builders down the road pointing towards him. i thought he was working with them. I usually dont speed through the villages here. It seemed to cause quite the debate on facebook.
  20. thankfully I wasn't speeding, but I as riding through a local country village yesterday and I saw what looked like a conveyancer and his equipment going about his daily job. As I was practically on top of him, I noticed it was a policeman with his motorcycle parked down a country lane. out of site to his side. I thought all speed traps had to be highly visible these days? is this not the case?
  21. This is one that I've seen so far http://www.castleshop.co.uk/sharkf9.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  22. Ive seen a shark system online for about £170 for a twin pack. just curious as to what other brands there might be and peoples experiences.
  23. a few of us go out on the bikes these days and two of us currently have a blue tooth headset, but it only allows 2 to talk at any time. So we are wanting to get a headset which will allow 4 of us to all talk at the same time if needed. Anyone got any recommendations, preferably around the £80 each range.
  24. my friend and I have had a set of these for a bout 3 years, whilst riding on our 125's was perfect for chatting. Now on our bigger bikes, I find converstation difficult anything over 60mph. But for using on its own with my satnav/phone. I can hear very well even with ear defenders in. Thinking it might be time eventually to get a more expensive one, just so we can chat at faster speeds. But all in all a good unit for the price. good luck with it.
  25. I took a leased works car to an halfords auto center once, the guy who was standing in as manager couldn't seem to care less that he was there or how he spoke to customers. I asked for paper work (that I usually expect from a garage when I have taken cars in for a service) to which he shruggs and goes you dont get none, it goes to the lease company. As I'm responsible for the vehicle I wanted paperwork. Sorry you cant have any. Snotty email to the head office, got me an apologetic phone call from an area manager and a free MOT. Not that Id be going in there again anyway
