I thought that MLB was quite good, but Chris Evans was pants. With his Shite jokes, wanna be Clarkson comments and he just seemed forced. I'll watch it because it has fast cars and a bit of fun, but I really miss the old trio.

To be fair it's a long way off my patch but it's not nice when I see this as it has such a negative impact. There's going to be a fair few people tarred by that brush for a while by the public, and who can blame them? But it's good that action has been taken. She has lost a very great deal from this outcome. We can't have people like this (and she was a supervisor) in the job, there's no room for it. Why is that? Someone can only be investigated once it's been brought to the attention of senior officers/proffesional standards. She obviously kept some of that on the quiet so it wouldn't be common knowledge. All the other stuff will come to light and be further investigated as part of the process. Once they knew what was happening, immediate action was taken. Happens in every job. If an employee is caught stealing, would you really believe that was their first time? Why did they get away with so much before being caught? The fact is, she was caught and dealt with. Brought to justice? Well that's another debate and I certainly wouldn't be defending her.

How accurate are those speed guns in terms of target at a distance? I rounded a corner about 15 over the speed limit and saw a copper pointing one towards me about 500 meters away. Obviously slammed on the brakes, I was over the limit when I saw him which meant he saw me. Was expecting his pal in the car to pull me. They ignored me, which I thought was lucky and odd. Car or bike? most speed guns now are laser. If aimed properly they will give an extremely accurate reading as soon as your in sight and fully coming towards the speed gun. Radar works different and although very accurate, is being phased out by most forces. Most of the time they will have the speed logged before you can have time to see them and react. A lot of coppers will use discretion, and will probably 'zap' a few times to see if you have slowed. If not, its tug time.

I'm trying to get as many tanks tier 5 plus as I can. Heavy are so slow, and some of the SU tank killers are so slow in traverse it's stupid. Doing pretty good with a chi-nu at present . I did treat myself to a Ram 2 which is awesome. Rate of fire is mental.

It boils down to force Policy, that's all. Some cameras are painted yellow to be seen, and they can recover a certain percentage of revenue from fines. Same for camera vans. Some will put signage out, some won't. Some will actively declare where they will be on their website beforehand. There's no hard and fast rule about being sneaky. On a side note, a few weeks back I was shooting down the A14, towards Cambridge from BSE and couldn't quite believe what I saw on the opposite side slip road. A marked police vehicle almost buried totally in a hedge with a copper trying to do a sniper spot with his speed gun. Even as a copper myself I thought it was bad form and was appalled. If your gonna do it as a marked unit, then do it and be visible. Leave the sneaky stuff to the unmarked patrols.

There's quite a few PC games I'd have, if I owned a decent spec PC... But anyways, I find myself playing World of Tanks Blitz on iPad quite a bit, very satisfying...and also 2 Xbox one games. The latest Dirt rally, which is the hardest driving game I've played with a controller....and Star Wars Battlefront. Both are epic.
