Hi and welcome
Sounds like the battery has failed.
-
The Sun
What's wrong with the Sun. Nice yellow orb in the sky, provides us with heat (occasionally) and light.
-
If all the lights work and the horn, but engine does not turn over it might be the starter relay that has failed.
If you have some "thick" wire you could short the two main terminals on the starter relay and see if that turns the starter.
If that does not work could be the starter at fault.
HTH.

I wear a thin balaclava under the helmet. Which tend to prevent the helmet lining becoming wiffy. Between rides helmet kept in a warm place.
-
Probably Friday afternoon.

*deep breath* people who see you filtering and move closer to the line to deliberately block you, people who change lanes without indicating, people who don't understand roundabouts, people who walk out behind buses without looking, people who see you coming and walk out in front of you anyway, anyone in the middle or outside lane who isn't overtaking something, people who incorrectly use the word "literally", people on scooters who think they get priority over everything because they are narrower, those three wheeled scooters, people who go on the Apprentice, people who work for Foxtons, people who drive smartcars, whistling, people who believe they are morally superior because they don't eat meat and lastly but not leastly people who say could/should/would of.
You missed out pedestrians who cross on red pedestrian lights.
-
Would ACF50 work on those wheels?
No. You need ronseal.
-
Na. I think if needs a new cable
-
(I am also not saying that there are never times when there are genuine accidents)
Apparently there are no genuine accidents these days. There must always be someone at fault / to blame.

If you want a good chippy on the west coast I would recommend Largs.
Or Oban
Yep. Good chippy in Oban. Then sit on the sea wall and eat them
-
Watch out for seagulls if your eating ice creams.
Sounds like you had some bad experience.. they stole me only a sandwich so far
Yep

If you want a good chippy on the west coast I would recommend Largs. Great chippies, even better ice cream.

Generally leave about 6:15am. Only had 1 neighbour across the road moan.
I used the car for a week and he overslept.
-
Thanks Stu. So as long as he leaves at that junction to the left and carries on along Clay pit road then right onto the A660 to the unis he should be ok.
-
Not sure that's correct. The sign over the road is green which means it is an "A" road, leading to a motorway class road, then just before the A road becomes a motorway there should be a sign advising prohibited vehicle to leave at the next exit.
So presuming the OP leaves on the posted A660 he should be ok.
However if the OP continues onto the A58M that is a no no.
A map of the route would enable a better answer to be given though.

Well done
Take it easy and remember the learning has just begun, and enjoy the biking.
(Wednesday must be a good day for tests. My daughter just phoned to say she passed her mod2.)
-
Didn't someone here do their mod 2 with a GPS for speed limits? Wish I'd have though of that.
I'd be wary of that. So many roads have been downgraded eg 30 to 20mph or 60 to 50 mph and my gps satnav shows the higher limit
