Module 2 - members test experiences

its a tough one, I don't think its 100% going too slow per se but a mix of undue hesitation showing you're not confident mixed with bad observations of speed limit changes (or at least that's vaguely what i remember being told by my instructor!) on my test I was doing about 25 in a residential 30 but as I did speed up slightly out of the 20 showing I saw the sign and there were loads of cars and stuff the instructor said it was fine -
ooh well fingers crossed @Mississippi Bullfrog

my first bike was a ZX6R so as with anything just take it easy and don't get sucked in to going over your comfort zone! if you can go somewhere to try stuff on that's always good and remember you'll be hunched over slightly so make sure you feel you've got good movement. look forward to the pics when you get it! -
yeah I just wonder if because it was sat for so long it's gunked up somewhere. Had a little ride out this morning and some MotoGP now so will refiddle later. Nothing ever seems to be easy when I'm involved

Jesus what is this the Spanish inquisition but probably 2 - 3 mins and around 5?

Ha! I took that off shortly after! yeah hadn't been on the road since 2013. Only 13k miles! well...14k now

Word up you lot. So my new to me bike came with a scottoiler vacuum system. Now it had been sat up for maaaaaany years and was dry so Filled it up Primed it so oil came out Ran engine. Nothing Checked all connectors, elbow joint to engine vacuum cracked! New one purchased and fit. Ran engine. Nothing. Reprimed so oil came out Ran engine. Nothing Now I don't have any clue about this so any help welcome. I did a bit of googling but other than "check vacuum" it's a bit vague thanks in advance!

top stuff @CaptainB!!! -
I dunno I've watched the videos and it's pretty weird. He has a bit of a track record in throwing his toys out the pram. But we will see what happens!!

I wanna go left field and put Nakagami in.... but I'm thinking Mir and Martin have to be sensible options... but when do I ever do sensible....

Sounds better than what I will inevitably do which is swap out someone who will do well for someone who won't

congrats @CaptainB mod 1 is the tough one! Mod2. Indicators! If in doubt hit that cancel button again! Speed limits! Nowadays most routes will try find a 20mph area so make sure any time you turn you check for new sign posts. Roundabouts! As above if you realise you're in the wrong lane just ride it out and go the "wrong" exit. They can't fail you for coming off the wrong exit but they can fail you for moving to a right hand lane. Lifesavers!! any change of direction or if there's a 2 to 1 lane merge remember to give a little look-see! It ain't over till it's over! even if you think you've failed just keep breathing and don't give up! unless you've gone full Grand Theft Auto you might not have so don't do something dumb to actually fail on. Also remember the test doesn't end until you're parked up engine off. Don't forget lifesaver/indicators etc in the car park! Get parked and remember to breathe neutral, side stand etc Good luck! -
I'm not saying I hate my job... but that almost sounds preferable...
