  2. at least you know not to ride in them... London are some yes some no, some yes for half then no for the rest. pain in the arse trying to clock the bloody signs every time
  3. stick with it! as said not many people are natural riders it takes a lot of practise. I had cruiser style 125 when I did my CBT and it took some getting used to but once you get it they are a lot of fun heck I rode it the other week as my ninja is sick and had a blast. don't try and think I'm never going to stall as being nervous will make everything more difficult, aim for one or two perfect get aways then build it up. oh and don't worry about the odd blip we all try to pull away in God knows what gear occassionally
  4. Horrible news, we have a live feed running in the office Couple of people have died I think including the police officer. The emergency services seem to have done a top job in responding quickly and doing everything possible to minimise fatalities though

    Fast Indicator

I've resisted previously, but can't any longer. Why the double indicators at the rear?! Well my dear Lats, what I assume happened is one of the many previous owners thought, hey I'll make it super streamline awesome with a combi unit then just never got round to taking the other indicators off.

    Fast Indicator

Ooh I haven't been here for a while! Have you all missed me? Never fear stuff is now going wrong! So went out on Sunday - no issues on the way there or 90% of the way home but THEN! my left indicator started flashing really quickly (both the dash light and front indicator). (Right indicator dash light and bulb fine) Oh, thought I, must be a rear that's gone. Nope. I have a sexy double indicator insanity on the back of my bike (don't ask) so the standard sticky out ones and a dual rear light/indicator after market get up. All of those are working fine but flashing faster on the left So my question is: Is Kermit letting me know that a bulb is ABOUT to go or are my electrics just crapping out?
  8. ooh I don't have any advice but I look forward to seeing updates!
  9. Aww thanks guys Just waiting on Charlie to give me a box with keys to a new Ninja in

  11. congrats Remember on a bike you do need to stop more, especially when you're still learning so plan a few rest stops in that three hours! Keep alert and hydrated (but not with beer obviously )

hello fellow kwaker my tail light has built in indicators (and still has the regular indicators... don't ask) and passed the last mot fine. I don't think they are led though just normal bulbs...
  13. on a recent ride a bunch of us got done for speeding... my mate isn't quite sure what he messed up but after sending the NIP back got a letter saying we advise you not to take us to court here's the evidence blah blah... it's a risky strategy though not sure if you'd always get that safety net if you did want to contest it....if you're within the course limits probably best to try take that
  14. top stuff! real learning starts here keep it steady and shiny side up
  15. ooh I'm still top so I'm happy
  16. Well I spoke to soon. Mirror snapped clean off when trying to adjust. Bugger. Did the ball joint snap off?
  17. FYI I am totally jealous you can get your bike in your living room
  18. There's a few infinity stores around https://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/stores/
  19. I'M SO GLAD IT'S WORKING AS I'M WINNING
  20. Sadly I think he will be mainly picking it up from the gravel. Neither Lowes have a great record at finishing the majority of the races
  21. I feel you're missing the point a tad. Most people talk on their mobile phones whilst driving but if you do that on your test they're gonna fail you.
  22. As I said above they are looking to see if you notice the speed changes and stick to them. 24 in a 20 is enough to get points if the police catch you.
  23. good luck pics when you get the bike
  24. Hello, the speeding fail is not necessarily just because you were going faster than the posted limit it also implies you missed the change of speed signs, or aren't aware of how fast you were going as you're not checking the speedo or you can't maintain a constant speed if you start getting faster and end up over the limit. I did my test from Enfield and one route has a couple of 30 to 20 to 30 changes and it does catch a lot of people out. I'm hoping this won't make you give up on your dream and you'll be getting right back into it
