  1. Yeah it's Computer generated but not intelligent. Which means it can't do random things. It's a very realistic computer animation, only the pedestrians let the whole thing down as far as graphics go. I did mine not so long ago and you do get a practice session before you start. It's really not very hard at all and just takes common sense. Just don't let nervous get in your way
  2. Not sure what you mean.. so off to google. i tried "brexit bully" and "brexit bullying" and it was all about Obama. and he's an American.. nothing to do with the EU at all.. but apparently he's a bully because after UKIP saying for ages that america will be just fine.. Obama says.. 'think again' he's now a bully. nothing to be seen about the rest of the eu. so please enlighten me.. and if you can do it without pointing me at a tabloid website I'll be grateful. (I've just eaten) The reason Obama is being classed as a bully is due to the trade deal between the USA and the EU. That's the reason he has been in Europe recently. He is basically saying that if the uk leaves the eu we will be at the bottom of the list on the trade deal. Although from what I can gather picking through all the bullshit out there, his main interest is with a trade deal with Germany.
  3. The LEDs look a good idea. Shame it's not a flip front or I would get one.
  4. Me too. Good on ya mate
  5. You've only had it a few months, give it a bit longer and see what starts falling off or breaking before you go telling people they aren't so bad Do I not get points for it being Hungarian but built in China? It's a one cylinder, 10hp bike. The only electrics are the lights...what can go wrong? Sorry, I have sent this off topic. The licence system is very confusing at first. Contact a CBT course and they will explain it all to you.
  6. Thank god for that Get out. Stu ban him! Come on, they aren't that bad. Buy one again, it could be your guilty pleasure
  7. Do you need to send your license off after your cbt? Shit, I'll have to look into that. I've done my CBT (£109) Theory test (£23) And booked a DAS course. Chinese bikes aren't that bad anymore
  8. Just had a quick search and the helmet comes up as £160. is that the sort of price im looking at or have i chosen the wrong model? Also i was thinking about a flip front style, i wear glasses so thought it might be more practical I paid £135 and it is a flip front. But tsurugi-ijin gives the best advice. I spent hours trying different helmets on as I found a lot put uncomfortable pressure on my chin (I'm like Jimmy Hill). So get yourself to a shop with a decent range and try loads on. I found J&S accessories to be the best where I live for having a big range with different sizes. But once I found the helmet I then bought it elsewhere for £30 less.
  9. Have fun on your cbt. The black range seems well made. It's owned by ghostbikes.com which are local to me so I've had my mits on them. The sizes seem small though so you would be best to try it on. I can recommend the Viper bluetooth helmet for a cheap comfortable first helmet.
  10. Rumour has it he didn't listen to his mum and kept going outside in the Purple Rain without a coat on and caught flu... too soon?? purple rain sounds like some tropical urine infection. He nearly died in the 90's. He would force himself to go days without sleep as he believed it made him more creative. All these celebrity deaths are the baby boom generation coming to the end.
  11. If that is the case Nikwax than, or as a last resort read the washing label Nooo! Reading the label is next only to reading the instructions! With past experience of my sailing gear I know not to trust the label. Even with top brands like musto. Will get some Nikwax in. Cheers mate.
  12. I've ridden in very heavy rain and the jacket does seem to bead the water like a nicely waxed car bonnet. And never seems to absorb to much. So I think it might have a waterproof coating as well as the drystar lining?
  13. Preston branch is ok but they slag off other local retailers as part of every sales pitch they do. Puts me off a bit.
  14. Mod 1 is £15.50 Mod 2 is £70 You can just pay by the hour at some places but the best price I found for that was £50 for 2 hours (inc bike hire). You can also do this for your test, you'd need to book the instructor and bike for enough time to get from the instructors location to test center, length of test and then journey back (I think). If you price all that up the courses aren't too expensive. I've booked 2 and a half day course for £480 inc test fees.
  15. WOW! I didn't think I would get such an in depth answer. Thanks Shorty! Much appreciated mate.
  16. Stupidly I bought a jacket with large sections of white on it. After 6 weeks it's looking a bit grim. It's an Alpinestars bogotà. Any recommendations for cleaning it? I'm crap at stuff like this and won't give in to asking Mrs (always) Right.
  17. Classic Python!
  18. no good for 4 riders though you need the Q3 and above check this out http://www.cardosystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/comparison-chart-2015-International.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; That's a serious bit of kit! Specially the top model that does upto 15 riders. Imagine every fecker talking at once!
  19. You sound like my wife mate.... Me: Can't find it! It's not in there! Wife: 'sigh' What's this then? A f**king donkey!?! I'll have a google for the q3. Cheers! Having a look around, this might be of some use to the OP. Has multipoint technology so can connect to two devices at once. And it's £80. http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/cardo-scala-rider-qz-motorcycle-bluetooth-hands-free-kit-p45476.htm#description" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  20. I've been searching for something similar but that can connect a dedicated sat nav, mobile phone and another rider. I think that must be stretching the bluetooth limits as I can't seem to find anything.
  21. I saw a vid on the Book of Face the other day of three guys stealing a KTM in the middle of London. In the day. And maybe 7 or 8 people just walked by - clocked they were stealing a bike and did nothing. Makes me angry. And obviously the guy who was just filming it all. ugh. Despair for humanity I watched that video too. One guy walking past doesn't even pretend he's not noticed them attacking the lock with a bar! Shocked me how small/young they looked too.
  22. Stopped at 9 p.m. Test was at 11:30a.m.
  23. Thanks folks. It was too amusing not to share Sorry if anyone finds it in poor taste.
