  1. I have the tomtom 410. The lack of music support was disappointing but due to my Bluetooth on my lid being able to connect to 2 devices it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure if it's the nav or my src pro, but the call audio quality was terrible. So I bought a cheap android pay as you go phone for £23 and use that for data for the tomtom. I then can have my normal phone connected to my helmet for calls and music. The nav then connects to my helmet on it's second channel.
  2. It would have to be one of the latest garmin as the tomtom's don't support music.
  3. I'm thinking of riding down after work on the Saturday , saying hello for an hour then get off home to bed.
  4. Yep, our local tip takes it too. You have to go to the tip and ask for the bags, then put the material in the bags. Asbestos is safe, it's the dust from it that is dangerous. So care should be taken when making it into the right size to bag it up.

    How about marine ply?
  6. Popped into Aldi. Those £50 ones do have a lot of bulk to them. Would be far to thick for summer riding though?
  7. You can get a ram mount that fits onto your mirror stem.
  8. No mate, it was with in range.

  10. Garage is coming along nicely. Just needs the roof to be finished and electrics and door to go on. Then tank the room underneath and build the driveway up.
  11. Yeah they have a headphone jack.
  12. This is the mount I started off with.
  13. Ah, sorry pal. Didn't read it properly. I've tried a few different mounts. They are rock steady and also come with a lanyard to attach the case to the bike should you not clip it onto the bracket properly. So no chance it'll go flying off. They are 100% rain proof, and if you sow some conductive thread in the finger tip of your glove, you can use the touch screen too. The power supply has to be the ultimate addons own though, as it's designed to fit the case.
  14. You'll need a mount as well mate. They have a 3 pronged mounting system that then connects to a ball head. If you work out where you want to mount the phone, I'll send you links to what you need.
  15. Can't beat ultimate addons in my opinion. Used one all through the winter.
  16. I have the tomtom rider 410 and its ok. But the phone sound quality is very bad. I use it with my schuberth src pro (cardo). Also on long journeys I like to listen to music. But that's not possible as the 410 doesn't support it. So I've decided to get a cheap smart phone to connect to the sat nav. This will give it it's Internet access for traffic updates. Going to keep it permanently in my topbox, which has power. As the src pro supports dual Bluetooth, I'll connect my other phone for listening to music and making phone calls. My advice to anyone who is thinking of getting the 410 is to try the tomtom app out first. It's great!
  17. Has the superlight had it's first service yet? I think it's around 600km but could be wrong. Until it's had that first service, the engine is very sluggish and the gears are a PITA. Once its been done it will feel like a different bike. Specially the gears. It's a big bike for a 125 so isn't for stopping as quickly as a sports type bike. I bought one brand new, road it for a few months then did my DAS. My friend bought it off me and rides it a lot. No signs of rust and besides a puncture, no problems.
  18. I was going to suggest meeting up at Rivey pike today mate. Can you not make a false beefy out of pillows, lollipop sticks and condoms?
  19. Oh mate, that's nice! Do you take installments?
  20. Yeah it's a gopro mount. It's stuck on with a 3m sticker. Get a hairdryer on it and it'll come off no problem.
  21. Again mate, congratulations!
