    Headlight range.

Sadly its the same. I have tried everything I can think off, trying it out every morning. The only thing I can think of is a brighter bulb but don't want to throw money at crap.

That's another problem. Having the high beam on solves the issue. They're fantastic! So good they blind the north bound traffic in the slow lane of the opposite carriage way. A few trucks with more lights than a UFO landing have fried my eyes in retaliation.

It's a 2014 Triumph explorer. Twin headlights with two H4 bulbs. I've tried them set lower for the reasons you said but still no good. I have two SW motech spot lights fitted but they would be a dazzle risk for on coming traffic? I've just been looking at brighter bulbs but they all have very mixed reviews.

    Headlight range.

I don't think there is much of a solution to this but thought I would ask anyway. I often travel down a section of motorway that has no lighting what so ever. At 4am it's dark, believe it or not. My headlights don't throw enough light forward for me to see what's coming up on the surface of the lanes. Makes my bum twitch when there's heavy rain and the road is known to flood. I have it set at the highest level but where I naturally look is still in darkness. Thought about raising my spot/fog lights to cover this but they could blind on coming traffic when getting back onto A roads. I'm guaranteed to forget to turn them off. Anyone any ideas?
  9. I had a long chat with my instructor about this. Well I say chat, I didn't ask and was a bit miffed that we were stood around instead of riding. Anyways, he said there was a couple of ways. First is to go on a residential course and get certified. He did say it was bloody expensive. And then find a school that is willing for you to work through. Second was paying a school to let you tag along, learn and would certify that you had enough knowledge to be put through the test. Or you may be lucky and find a school that would let you work for free. The first option sounded the best to me but he seemed to think the instructors who have only done the course and not learnt with real students where the worst kind. He mentioned that £100 a day before deductions was the going rate. This is second hand info so do check it out before you make any decisions.

  15. He may give your bike a new aroma but he's a good looking lad!
  16. Just an example. Try bigger sizes if the jackets don't fit.
  17. Say no mowa!
  18. Go up sizes. My brother's 6'7 but with less girth. He borrowed my 4xl jacket to ride pillion and it fitted him fine for length.
  19. That's the statement I used to make when I couldn't get a girlfriend as a teenager Right then, Challenge on!
  20. Tried the GT air on and it was bloody comfy! Arai don't seem to be following the fold with the internal visor, but again, a damm good quality product when it's on your nogin! I'll pick a day then and make sure it doesn't impact on anyone else's plans for me!
  21. Ah that's going beyond my ability mate. Half tempted to let triumph do it. I Really need to stop buying things for the bike!
  22. Not sure what day to go.
  23. Here's a pic of someone else's home made version.
