  1. I've shared it on FB.
  2. Right, decided I'm not going to build something myself as I don't have the time. Still have a bathroom to finish as well as other 'more important' bits that the wife tags on a daily basis. So, got a local builder extending the height of the floor /ceiling so the room underneath is more practical. It's also going to be concrete which will be better. A brick garage is going to replace the old prefab with full electrics (trying to talk her into a powered door) and traditional pitched roof. I'm thinking of having a cupboard in there to keep all my bike gear. But I'm worried about cold and damp getting into them. Maybe a storage heater?
  3. I'll have a good scan through your website when the wife has finished with me. Sounds good!
  4. Maybe have different degrees of touring. Myself, I like to rough it a bit. But with maybe a comfy bed before the ride home.
  5. I'll happily test the touring for you
  6. Talk to adventure bike shop and also see about a plug on adventure bike TV on YouTube.
  7. Social media, it's the only way these days. Set it all up and be willing to pay for advertising that will appear in like minded people's feeds. Check out the competition, see what they are good st in terms of advertising when and where. Also see what products they offer. Is yours as good or better? Could you offer something different/better? I think a lot of the uk market love the idea of touring but want it as easy as possible with nice places to stay.
  8. Congratulations mate. Really made up for ya!
  9. For 17 years old you seem a very grounded lad. I agree about doing your cbt on a geared bike. When I did mine, the instructor gave me some good tips and training that he obviously didn't give to the other 2 trainee's on autos. But, seeing as you already have it booked on a 50cc and if the school won't let you swap. Get it done and use it to learn some road sense. Then look into extra lessons either with a school or maybe your dad?
  10. Just to explain, this works fine. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone or gps. But it doesn't have the facility to connect to another rider.
  11. We do, how you fairing for the ride on 22/04? I might have to do alternate Saturdays with this new job. I'll find out when I start on the 1st. It's only half day on a Saturday though so could possibly meet up.
  12. Happy Birthday mate! Still need to get together for a ride out.
  13. I try to use local as I like to try stuff on first. Most shops have to match online prices to survive. Ghostbikes, The Rocket centre and J&S are all very local so get my money. But don't over look main dealers. They can have larger margins and will sometimes sell for a small lose in the hope you will do a repeat visit. My local triumph sold me the C3 pro and SRC pro Bluetooth as well as Sidi adventure boots for nearly cost price. In return I did take my bike there for service.
  14. The original Cardo Scala Rider. This is the original first version that doesn't connect to other Bluetooth units Connects to your phone to make and take phone calls. Aux lead and input for connection to an MP3 player. Auto volume. Voice command Comes with everything to fit to your helmet. Instructions. All works perfectly. Open to offers.
  15. Well it's coming up to 12 months since I did my CBT. I did it on the 20th of Feb 2016. Since then I gained my full licence in June and got myself something a wee bit bigger. But I wouldn't have been able to do it with out the knowledge and experience kindly shared on this forum. So Cheers guys and girls.
  16. Gortex jacket and trousers are my next big buy. I have gortex boots and they have been great!
  17. I wear my textile jacket and trousers over my work trousers, shirt and tie. I have the alpinestars bogota. And if it's really hammering it down I put richa waterproof overs on, over the above. Don't ignore your feet though, getting to work with wet feet is bloody miserable!
  18. You'll need time off for stress soon
  19. Ultimateaddons Say no mowa...
  20. Definitely seem smaller when you have removable thermal layers abd stuff. I have 4xl alpinestars gear (alpinestars seem to be a smaller fit than other brands). And it fits ne perfectly, where as I can fit into 2XL in other brands.

  22. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2017/february/milton-keynes-council-motorcycle-training/ If you are in Milton Keynes.
  23. I had a pr3 on the back and a pr4 trail on the front. Now got a pr4 trail on the back (apparently you can't get the GT in my bikes size). No difference as far as I can tell, except my back tyre is now round instead of flat. Which feels really weird!
