  1. Without seeing the surface I can't comment too much, but with the roads being gritted it's a circumstance you may well find yourself in at some point. Did you go for it yourself or with an instructor? On a side note, what makes you want the A1? I'm guessing you want to use a motorway
  2. On the left for an F4i
  3. Wax Idle Unit might need adjusting: http://canberrariders.org.au/index.php?threads/cbr600f4i-adjust-fast-idle-wax-unit.142445/
  4. I took my girlfriend on holiday a few years ago. She was lying in a hotel bed in Portugal and the window was wide open, quite easy actually.
  5. He has pictures of partially clothed models on the custom bikes they've done . No nudity though Website appears to be working again now.
  6. I'd start by cleaning up the connections, and then maybe replace the sensor. They're not too expensive second hand. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-Honda-CBF125-Throttle-Position-Sensor-TPS-16060KWF941-FREE-UK-SHIPPING/273009091395?hash=item3f909c2343:g:SPwAAOSwnCFaTRFE They're used on quite a lot of models of Honda, part no - 16060-KWF-941. If the sensor was truly buggered though it sounds like it'd lose power, so someone with some experience of that issue may be along to help
  7. It worked when I posted it, I checked .
  8. Here you go, I hope you can read it. I’ve taken on my phone so it’s nice and clear when I zoom in a bit. It gives all the info on how to read the codes and clear them too. From the bottom half of the first page and all the second .
  9. Hunts are a bit naff from my experience and others, but that's from a sales point of view. I can't comment on their garage. I'm South Manchester too, there's a fella in Denton check him out - he's highly recommended. http://www.sportandcustoms.co.uk/ He works from his garage, but has a professional set up.
  10. Where in Manchester are you based? Not that I can help, you defo don't want that . I could recommend a garage to you though if you're nearby.
  11. Ok I think long flashes count for 10, so you need to count how many long flashes and then how many short. It could be many things, so you'd have to get that information first. E.G if it was 2 long flashes and 6 short it's code 26.
  12. Throttle position sensor I think from a quick google. I've got the haynes at home I can check properly later if you like. I found this page, I just don't know if it's the same across all Hondas https://www.motorcycle-manual.com/honda-motorcycles-fault-codes
  13. If they were hard to push back in, maybe you didn’t open the reservoir?
  14. All textiles in winter/wet conditions and leathers for warmer and dryer times . Sometimes I've been naughty and rode in my jeans and my leather jacket/a thin textile jacket.
  15. Thanks goody, that was my plan. I want to watch a bit from the view in my signature too
  16. Since my wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s her handjobs have improved tremendously.
  17. Something I'd not even thought about as I've been absoarded in getting there - but as far as watching the racing are most of the areas free? Is there anywhere I'll need tickets for that aren't obvious? (grandstands etc)
  18. You missed the point of my comments, I don’t think anyone is too old to ride. You’re assuming he’s terrible at riding and it’s not for him because his confidence is low. You’re just going to make it worse with crap like that.
  19. I assume you missed the part where he had a recent off, which has knocked his confidence. I'm betting an off would knock the confidence of even the most experienced riders. On a side note, you look a bit too old to be riding maybe you should hang your boots?
  20. As mentioned I'm also a cautious rider and basically feel pretty nervous in all conditions except dry, clear roads . I don't let it ruin my enjoyment though and I just take it slow as I feel comfortable with! One thing I would suggest is though, don't move over to let the cars pass own the lane! You'll get dick heads forcing you further into the gutter if they have the chance.
  21. Never bump started before although i think my dad has done it to mine and apparently it was difficult but managed it. Will give it a go either tomorrow morning or tonight after work....midnight or so ... How to bump start? Put it in second, with clutch obviously pulled in, push and build up speed then release clutch and press start button at the same time? Not quite, I have to do mine in 3rd but run down the road with it in gear but the clutch pulled in and when you're at around 7-8mph let the clutch out - make sure the ignition is on and the kill switch isn't flipped. Soon as it fires up I pull the clutch back in to stop it rolling away and flick it into neutral. Had to do this a few times with mine, I once bumped it and stalled it right after and had to do it again .
  22. I sprayed it on the joints of the throttle bodies to see if it bubbled, that’s what I was advised to do when I had a fluctuating idle anyway . Ok , but its an intake problem so its sucking IN unwanted air not blowing it out . Yeah but a leak could still cause the idle to fluctuate? The two issues might be unrelated, which is why I suggest it may be sticking open once it’s been opened up.

  24. Check the throttle body for the leak, spray some WD40 where it could leak from to check. Also could the throttle body be sticking open?
  25. My Weise trousers are very good, so going off that I would say yes!
