  1. Precisely what I thought, Mileage has been done since April last year when the bike was bought brand new, although the bike is Chinese the chain is a Japanese RK chain £199.00 ( new ) as fitted to many Honda's, Suzuki's and Kawasaki's. The chain has to have let water in or the links could not have seized, it probably happened on the Ride to The wall when it was in the rain all day long from 7:00AM to 10:00PM, it still of course should not let water in. The cause could be poor chain assembly then! If they don't press the outer plates far enough down then as you know the seal will be broken, but it's still going to be difficult to get some oil back inside. It's not going to be a case of the life of the lubricant in the chain going off in less than 12 months, which I thought might have been a cause - if the chain had been on a long time.
  2. Isn't the point of the O-Ring that there's grease/lubricant inside the joints between the rings and it should never come out/let anything in? Over what sort of time period did you do the miles?
  3. I watched a streamer playing it in VR last night for a bit, it looks awesome for VR. I don't know if I'd wanna play it without VR.

  5. I was definitely born an idiot, I have just come to accept it now.
  6. Anywayyyyy..... You getting the Rocket then Oasis?
  7. If the bikes good enough and you take the likes of Hutchy and Dunlop out of the equation, Guy wouldnt be beating McGuinness. Id love for him to get a win, but between Guy and McGuinness I don't think there's much competition, hopefully he can prove me wrong.
  8. Well we've found someone to take over the 'Beefy' role, goodluck Mr Painkiller.

    Dead Bike!

That's ridiculous! You shouldn't have to be bump starting a new bike, you've already proven it's not a flat battery issue! Make sure they sort it for you pal you shouldn't be having to be trying anything like this to get a brand new bike working!
  10. If they park like that at the back of a supermarket where no one else parks anyway I don't care, if it's right near the front then it pee's me off and that's probably going to cause people to key your car anyway.
  11. I don't someone said I could break stuff,
  12. Sounds good, I assume she likes bikes? You know her better than us, my missus would hate if I popped the question like that - but then she aint into bikes . If you fancy being on Don't Tell the Bride a biker theme would be something they'd go for I reckon .
  13. What was for tea? PS that does sound amazing

    Dead Bike!

I hope they sort it! I assume Bullit is a Chinese manufacturer? I can't find anything about them except their own website.
  15. You've summed me up perfectly there , I was going to do the NW200 but I'd rather wait and do the TT. It'll be in 12 months time though as I've got a busy year this year. I assume if I book quite early it's going to be cheaper? I'll book next years as soon as possible. In the past I was unable to go because of work, so this is the first time I'm toying with the idea. Seems like it's about a tenner a night for camping - but with no quotes from the Steam Packet, no idea about ferry. Was planning on four nights, but I'm an impromptu kind of person and hate to be tied down. I remember a time when you could simply rock up to places and buy tickets for things. Having to pre-arrange the finest details and smash the F5 key simply pisses me off - I'll be going somewhere else instead. Either Highlands or off to find sun. I'll be doing a little over a week when I go, when I eventually get over it'll be the day before the first race and the Sunday after the last race I'd come home.
  16. A good second hand engine is £300, how old is the bike? Ask a local garage how much for the labour and source your own engine. I bet it's half the price.
  17. Whats the rough prices for taking a bike and a weeks stay? I was going to go this year, but I probably wont be on a big bike so I'm thinking of next year already . Also Mawsley you could try booking in March?

  19. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4132082/Spain-sees-heaviest-snowfall-35-years.html?ito=social-facebook I hope this comes over your way
  20. You've played it very well! Is that around the time of the big crash when a few banks went under? Interest only scares me though
  21. Nice job mate, the original looked pretty hideous but that's beautiful now .
  22. Gets better the further north you come, I'm on a high% mortgage as it's 90% and it's still about £150/month cheaper than renting the same property.
  23. I went out in canary wharf last time I stayed, you're right there is plenty about after work. None wanted to party until 4am though and all the bars shut at 11ish .
  24. They won't let you borrow any more than you need for the property, we did try when we looked at a house that needed some work, we had 10% to stick down and we wanted to borrow a few more ££s than the 90% needed. Wasn't even an option. I think banks really don't like the idea of negative equity any-more, probably because the way things have gone in the past. However I think 100% mortgages could potentially be a good thing, but then ALOT of people would be buying and it'd probably rocket the house prices
