Overfilling the fuel? Didn't think there was such a thing . Apart from having it pouring over the tank of course.

^ Same as above happened on a smaller scale to me, an actual store on eBay was selling Haynes manuals advertised as brand new. I bought one and paid a couple of quid more than the used ones as you would expect. When it arrived the corners of the manual were curved over and then pages had black finger marks all over them. It was only a couple of quid more, but the sheer cheek of it pee'd me right off. I ended up getting some free chain lube out of it .

The recent one of selling my bike; Starts with a fella bidding a stupidly low amount - I reject telling him far too low. 3 days later I get a message "I know it's low but I will pay it". The fluid is under pressure, it has nowhere to go when you try to push it back in. The reservoir being open allows the fluid to go somewhere. Also I'm serious WD40 on your brakes can be a real issue I'm not sure what you should do about that. Hopefully someone else will be over soon to say what you should do.

No to worry, be very careful now though you've used wd40 - you shouldn't use that on your brakes at all. For pushing the pin back in you needed to open the reservoir on the top of the handle bars to push it back in. A little bit might squirt out and the fluid is nasty stuff so stick a rag around it to catch any overflow. Have a watch of this it's very useful for exactly what you wanna do ">

if you have a split link you shouldn't need to remove anything, except maybe the covers - you might need to take all the slack off on the rear wheel.
