    yup not in bike racing but have used all kinds of mental tricks, autogenic training and visualisation are probably the most effective. Aromatherapy can produce big results if you get the oils right too. and yes having the natural ability and correct mental approach in the first place then building and developing all that is what really counts. Potential champions are born but actual champions are made - success is when preparation meets opportunity

    have to say I was impressed by the level of riding on the pudding run, it was safe and everyone rode within their ability. Not IAM, but very good and sensible of the mix of riders and bikes we had and everyone looked out for each other

    home safe, yep thanks to everyone for an awesome weeekend, special thanks to Willow, Akey and Vicki for heats and eats. Oh and Houdi I'm heartbroken I never got a hug will start putting up some of the 98:shock: pics over the next couple of days

    haha bloody ha, at least my orange with red inlay bike gets me from A-B got back 7ish tonight, totally frozen to find the fookin boiler is knackered will post the recipe for tomorrow when my brain thaws out

    Cranachan is simply way better than it has any right to be made some a couple of days ago and me oldies wolfed it down then raided the fridge for the stuff I'd put by while I was at work , mum did put a little bit by in a glass for me tho (about a spoonful )

    Willow is it OK if I just give you the ingredients and make the cranachan when we get back. Just had a practice run making it. Gonna make a couple of adjustments to method but the end result is superb just tested it out on my oldies never seen em wolf anything down as quick think I may have overdone the secret ingredient tho will do a drivers and non drivers versions
