  8. aw thanks vicki, someone cares about us guys how about we meet up at Penrith see what the weather's like do Hartside first, then down to Tannhill, Hawes and finish at Devil's. If the weather is dodgy high up we can just do Hawes and Devil's

  11. Think I calculated my max total costs for the trip at £650 but that included 3 nights B&B
  12. I'm about half way so if its tents they can be pitched here no probs, plenty of room and hard standing under cover for the bikes + workshop for running repairs. Also got a 2 bike trailer if we need it Reckon 1 day 'to', 2 days for LEJoG and 1 day home. Am up for it, dates dependant tho

  15. Didn't ride mate was in daughter's KA , just in case I saw some kit at NEC (only thing I bought was a hotdog and a bottle of mineral water . Also the longrange forecast was seriously cr@p. Cheers though will take up your offer of a cuppa next time I head down , will be on the bike for certain
  16. was pretty bleak up there, glad I had me bike jacket with me. Gonna have to put road blocks up to stop me coming down there next year, traffic's a bit of a pain though. Really impressed not just by the roads but some of the towns and villages, that church tower in Chesterfield is really cool
  17. yeah good to meet you too, deffo up for some rideouts, the Peak District roads look like a lot of fun.

  20. Not sure yet, Thurs or Fri. Trying to mooch a courtesy car out of Ssangyong cos I really don't feel like takin the bike (235 miles of Mway end of Nov, 470 round trip), mainly cos there's be less room for goodies

  25. don't bother with them on the road, too many R1s n Gixxers slowing down for corners and getting in the bloody way , do a nice line in scraped fairings and hero blobs though . would deffo wear them on track though.
