  1. Met Guy Martin tonight (again). Seriously funny bloke, but really friendly. Loads of bikes there tonight too.
  2. Some other things. Guy Martin at Hein Gerricke in Glasgow tonight 7 - 9pm. Honda Glasgow (Victor Devine) CBR Day on Sunday 27th including ride out, breakfast etc. Ratser solo ride, Saturday sometime.
  3. Saw you on that machine of yours today at the Aldi roundabout heading towards Hillhouse (that is if it is you who still owns it). Nice white leathers mate. Yeah twas me mate still got it What you riding now??? Just got the bike out for the first time this year yesterday This. Only done 360 miles since October though. http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/9105/24092010286.jpg
  4. I have the compression stuff from Aldi as well as EDZ layers. Both are very good. I even wear the Aldi stuff when playing 5 a sides when it's cold.
  5. I have the Sidi Gore Tex boots, which are very comfy, good fit, but squeak on every step. Have used the silicone/oil stuff you get with new visors, on the plastic joints, and it seems to have worked though.
  6. Mate for that budget you have I just got BKS leathers. Far softer, yet thicker and armoured than the HG ones I had previously (although they still are good leathers). I got my BKS jacket at the bike show last weekend for just over £200, and got the jeans today for £240. If you went list price on them both the jacket is supposed to be £399, and the trousers £279. My HG ones I got both jacket and trousers for £300. Just depends on what you want really, and if you could the change for another biking accessory. For wearing leathers (at any time) you really want underlayers though.
  7. TT again this year? Your turning into an addict..... Just ignore me - i'm just jealous 'cos i didn't go back last year 3rd year in a row mate, and with the 3rd different bike. Think there is 9 going this year.
  8. Well overdue Archie. I tried to hook up with Daz a couple of times when I was down that way, but he was getting dragged to the shops. Just hope this weather improves so I can finish running my bike in before it's time for the Isle of Man.
  9. At the bike show, saw these heated gloves or heated liners. Run on a battery and last up to 4 hours. Seemed pretty good, and I was tempted, but decided against it.
  10. Joined. Better late than never.http://209.85.122.87/5902/57/0/e14426//e14426.gif
  11. As much as I think the marshalls screwed up, this blame culture has to stop. Did the drop off the stretcher kill Shoya ? I doubt it. So why should criminal charges be brought against the marshalls ? People are always sad and emotional when someone passes away. But we don't always have to blame someone else. It was a bad accident, and Shoya unfortunately died of his injuries, competing in the sport that he loved, and that made his family proud of him. Lets move on, but learn from it, and stop the flippin' races next time so that rushed clearances don't have to happen for injured riders/drivers.
  12. RIP Shoya. Fantastic young rider who was always smiling.

  14. All Moto GP races live on Eurosport. Also WSB Superstock on tonight (Saturday), WSB and BSB on tomorrow all on Eurosport too. Moto 2 just about to finish now, 125's already done.
  15. What did he say??? me thinks from the OP that 2 in the party aren't English... I thought it was posted to the wrong thread.
  16. I watch them all, BSB, WSB and Moto GP including all the supporting races. Also watch the TT and NW200 when it is on tv as well (when I am not actually at the TT). I find it really interesting and far far more exciting than Formula 1 which I don't even watch now. Out of them all though I prefer watching WSB and BSB as they just seem more exciting.
  17. Isle of Man TT Mountain Course, especially the Glen Helen and Mountain sections. Glen Helen for the great bends, and the mountain section for the lack of any speed restrictions and plenty of high speed corners.
  18. On way back to the campsite we passed through where he crashed, and it was a bit of a mess. RIP Paul and also to Martin Loicht who was also killed. Get well soon to Guy Martin and Connor Cummins.
  19. Will need to check thew thread as to where and when it is mate. Edit: Ok checked, and unfortunately wont be able to make it.
  20. I picked up a Buffalo one from J&S yesterday that was £39.99 and comes with a load of bungees, helmet bag and soft cloth for underneath it. Will post a pic of it on when I pack it all up for the IOM this coming weekend.
  21. Sure am mate. Same guys going this year as well. Can't wait, especially with all the additional entertainment on at the front this year. Shame you aren't able to make it along.
  22. Anyone going this year ? We are leaving and get the ferry from Heysham on the 6th June, and only until the Thursday this year. But can't wait for it already.
  23. Thought I would have seen that machine of yours about by now. Have you camouflaged it ? Saw you on that machine of yours today at the Aldi roundabout heading towards Hillhouse (that is if it is you who still owns it). Nice white leathers mate.
  24. Well done Keith Amor and Alistair Seeley. And to Stuart Easton as well coming second in the superbike race. Gotta love Guy Martin though, what a star.
